Yes, when the game ends, Rebecca enters the mansion. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell us much about what happened in the mansion, or before, but it only introduces a totally new story.

Doesn't it show what Wesker and william Birkin were doing. I think Wesker was a former umbrella Researcher and that's how it all began. Something went wrong with the experiments they were doing under the mansion in the secret umbrella labs and thats how it spread to the train and to the mansion.

I can only play Remake and other the other RE's on the GameCube when I am at my Mother's house. I will have to borrow it or buy one.
