I been bugged about the idea of Teensies having both genders before. I always thought that they were all created by Polokus practically at once, and are almost immortal. They could probably live forever if they wish, while at the same time, they could get killed. Perhaps new ones are born through the Lums.

I think I've read it on Wikipedia(though I'm not completely sure), that they were created to keep track of and guard every single road and passage...maybe that's why they're crawling all over the world.

Yeah, Polokus has guardians, but they're the fairies, from what I know.
