The Quadro Plex is developed for businesses, mostly working with visual work. Dual Quadro FX 5500s is extremely powerful. You don't need anything near that powerful to beat something like the PoS3...Ones that could overthrow the PoS3's retail as low as $110.

That's Model I. Model III is more powerful than Model I is. (Check the Professional Solutions section to find the QuadroPlex Model III.)
