SCE has some of the worst management I've seen since Atari's foolish choices with the 5200 (the controller was what everyone was complaining about, though no, the 2600 is still going strong, so let's just forget that the 5200 ever happened), the 7800 (where it only had a handful of games, most just ports of old arcade games with little original stuff, and was basically relying on the fact that it was 2600-compatible, which hardcore gamers no longer really cared about), and the Jaguar (marketed as 64-bit though only the coprocessors which were merely graphics accelerators were 64-bit, very few games, and most of them were either horrible or unremarkable ports.) Heh, Sony just dropped the price $100 (they're getting desperate) and is restating the whole "WE HAS BLU-RAY" thing, though I don't see why Blu-Ray is so absolutely remarkable...And if the Blu-Ray player is as bad as the PoS2's DVD playing was, I'd rather buy an actual Blu-Ray player. (Though I wouldn't anyways.) I doubt $500 is going to change anyone's mind when the Wii is much more remarkable and only $250 and the Xbox360 with more and alot better games as well as better graphics and larger hard drives now. I hope SCE will one day realize that many console gamers couldn't care less about technical performance since there is no need to upgrade a game console's parts and more care about the games that are on it--after all, it showed with the PoS2 when it stayed in first even as the technical underdog.
