Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Adapting it should not be too hard right? If you want, I could do it for you if I knew how it works... possibly anyways.
I only would know if I knew how it was setup to be honest.
Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
It has to connect with the phpBB memberbase and check for a few requirements. I'm not sure how much the database tables are different now, but yeah, altering that script wouldn't be too hard, especially for somebody like Hunch. And Gigaman, I really like your name, and I don't think it's that bad to have 'spam' posts under your username. I've generally posted under this name and Ruy since 2003 and both included a few spam posts.
Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Well, look at the first topics of these forums and you'll understand what I mean.

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
To be honest, I kind of miss that place. Some missed members being Rolesfamily, Misksu12, ryanmcd, Block, lockwonge, and a few others. Brings back memories. too bad you don't have the whole community with all topics on there for us to look back on. It would have been cool, but I guess hard for you to do if you wanted.
Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Yeah, it was great. And to think how terrible the new RZ is.
Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
It was great when I used to be a pal with a guy called Jonatan on the old RZ. Freaking good times, and I miss them.

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive

I could add other pages if some members helped me to find new ones, but it isn't possible to get the whole forum back

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Do you mean by using the Wayback machine?

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
If Ubisoft was to leave the old DB upstill and "forgot" to remove it, Hunchman could "hack" it to get it and gain it and use it. I bet you it may still be there... I hope anyways.
Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
I'm sure all the data would have been lost so even if he could revive it, it would be empty.

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Would never hurt to try, but you still may be right... Ubi may be too dumb to remove it, or maybe not... knowing how Ubirazz took care of things... I would think it was untouched.
Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Well, they never backed it up. First TK deleted thousands of topics in the Rayman 3 topics, and then several hacks occured. Ubisoft didn't know what hit them.

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
I still think they should run a PHPBB forum... that board they're using now is a bunch of bull crap. >.<
Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Yeah, I agree. It has got better, though.

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Well, they should at least have a forum that at least allowed members to gain lums for the lums quest.

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
I still hate it.
Now, it's just a forum where noobs don't even listen to the link to the rules I gave them, not to mention a flaming noob is mocking everyone, including me in my Spider-Ray topic.
It's just a noob spam hole.

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Noobs are always like that. That's half why I left that forum.
Not to mention the code given at the end of Rayman 3 is totally pointless... I don't see why they deleted the Hall of Fame for R3, tbh, it just doesn't add up...Hoodcom wrote:Well, they should at least have a forum that at least allowed members to gain lums for the lums quest.
Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Ubisoft ended the lums quest when they changed the website. They new thing doesn't even work.Hoodcom wrote:Well, they should at least have a forum that at least allowed members to gain lums for the lums quest.

Re: The phpBB RaymanZone Archive
Lums Quest still exists but it's been changed.
Y'know, they had the new site for so long now, they still haven't asked us to give them our fan-art.
Not to mention no forum for Lums Quest. -__-
