You need MSDOS.

It was originally a program only for W98 and W95 but it can now be used on WXP when you click here.

There is a version of R1 that does not need DosBox. You can run Rayman 1 on Windows XP using Pok2's patch.

I will look for it and give you the link to be able to download it. ;)

http://rayman.bonusweb.cz/patches/ here you go. ;)

It automatically has a already perfectly configured DOS Box ment for Rayman. ;)

I first played Rayman 1 at the age of...10-11 I think at a friends place. He didn't have a memory card so I had to
restart every time I went there...never got past Bongo Hills. XD

I finally got it on my 12th birthday for PSone and started playing it with HUGE enthusiasm...which lasted till Mr. Stone. I just couldn't beat the guy, only after 1-2 months. I beat it almost fully ,but didn't save the Electoons, and stopped playing. I picked it up again a few months ago from scrap, and beat the whole game in one huge wave. :D

Ever since then, I hold a grudge against Mr. Dark....COWARD! :P

So, I guess you ARE alone, Luckster.

I'm STILL stuck in the first area. I'm missing two cages in the last level.

Yeah, compared to Picture City, Caves of Skops is an easy one...though it has quite a few irritating part too. 8P

Cave of Skops was enough for me to tare out my hair at some points...It can get so annoying that you forget all about how cool it is, and just want to get throught it as fast as you can. Skops is easy to beat though...even the big Moskito was harder than him! XD

Ain't it just sad when one of the final bosses turns out to be a big wuss? Happened to Johnny with Resident Evil 4. XD

Getting to Skops is much harder than actually beating him. He might be hard for others, but at that time, he was far to little to stop me. XD

Nah, he's actually up close and shoots from his tail. You have to make the shots go back at him. ;)

But yeah, it kinda felt like that XD
