Re: Rayman 3
A lot of stuff on my computer is illegal.
Re: Rayman 3
I'm not really prepared to download it even if the police didn't find out. A program like that could damage my computer.
Re: Rayman 3
I suppose it could, yes.
Re: Rayman 3
Hey guys i am in need of some help
I downloaded a no cd patch for Rayman 3 (the cd killer version) and extracted it to my folder when i run the game it gets past the ubi-soft logo at the beginning and then asks me for the cd
Unfortunately a friend is borrowing the game and i don't know when i will get it back.
Any ideas?

Re: Rayman 3
This is one game that keeps me fired up, even in hostel. Hoodlum Havoc was just awesome in and out (I only played R1 before it) and it finally managed to feed my Ray-hunger.
I simply loved the graphics, the music and the overall hilarity of the game. The Teensies officially made it onto my Top List of creatures, and the Hoodlums were a great fun to get rid of.
My favourite part was without doubt The Land of the Livid Dead...the music and that tower were purely awesome.
The mini-games failed at me since I couldn't complete ANY of them, but the 'Wanna kick Rayman?' bits cracked me up,though I had a little splinter in me from that point-gathering...somehow I felt it didn't really belong there. If not for anything else, the different 'super-modes' of Ray really made an impression on me. Lockjaw PWNS! XD
What was a downer for me was the idiot CD swapping. I had to inster CD1 to start, and then replace it with CD2, because CD2 wouldn't load alone
But overall, it was a great game worth playing, and has a high replay rate...at least with me it has. ^^

Re: Rayman 3
No matter how often I play R3, it never seems to get boring for me. My current goal is to fully 100% the game, which probably won't be happening unless I become the uber-nerd of the Rayman community.
My favorite parts are probably the cut-scenes, short and long alike. It shows more personality of the characters, especially Rayman, who appears to be more teen-like than ever in this game, compared to R2 where he was very serious.
I kinda wish Globox didn't have that big of a role in the R3 game. Either that, or give more Rayman a few more speaking parts.
And what the heck happened to Ly??

I think Ly got turned into stone ever since Rayman 2. XDLuckster_Gal wrote:No matter how often I play R3, it never seems to get boring for me. My current goal is to fully 100% the game, which probably won't be happening unless I become the uber-nerd of the Rayman community.

I don't mind Globox having a big part, but I don't like what they did to him. He was kind of a simpleton back in R2, but witty a bit (he was Public Enemy #2 and the sign said he destroyed a lot of Pirates with the rain dance

Re: Rayman 3
That seems to happen with any series. You have ONE character that has just a bit of a lower IQ than everyone else, then the next thing you know, they have no IQ at all. At least in the HF series he'll have SOME brains. XDZay-el wrote:I don't mind Globox having a big part, but I don't like what they did to him. Yeah, being a bit simple doesn't equal being a complete idiot. I liked him back in Rayman Revolution, because his simplicity was funny and cute on its own. ^^Luckster_Gal wrote:That seems to happen with any series. Re: Rayman 3
I kinda wish they combined they two forms of Globox. His simplicity from R2 with his hilarious comments from R3 (Some of them, anyways).

Like the 'I'm carving strawberries!' one...that one made me go 'Wha-?' and made me laugh at the same time. XDLuckster_Gal wrote:I kinda wish they combined they two forms of Globox. His simplicity from R2 with his hilarious comments from R3 (Some of them, anyways).

Re: Rayman 3
I turn down the music when I play so that I can listen for anymore funny wisecracks from Globox to put into a sketchy comic.

Re: Rayman 3
I like the music a lot too, but when I'm trying to listen to the dialog for certain things, I need to turn it down cause otherwise I just can't hear.
Re: Rayman 3
There's a software called Globoxinator that was owned by RZ. It had all the quotes from Globox, but I'm not sure if it's still available...Luckster_Gal wrote:I turn down the music when I play so that I can listen for anymore funny wisecracks from Globox to put into a sketchy comic.

Hmmm...I don't think it does...I'd have seen it. 8(
Re: Rayman 3
I think they took it down when they redesigned their site.

Re: Rayman 3
Dang....oh well, I'm ok with finding the quotes myself. Gives me more reasons to replay the game. XD
