It was. And if you're talking about TNT.... then yeah, they're like that. They have all kinds of rules. Some don't even make sense to me. T_T

I've seen some Neo pet commercials... but I had no idea anyone pulled off what Th31 did. LOL

Uh oh....NERD MODE!!

Originally Neopets was made by a few college students for other college students who missed the joys of having a pet. It was a pretty basic site at the time, mainly being a phtml site with no flash games. Over time, Neopets began to expand as more people signed up. More artists and designers were hired for graphics and games, and they got more admins and mods to keep track of things.

Soon enough, Neopets Inc. was an actual company for the gaming site, getting bigger and bigger in terms of popularity. Eventually it was noticed that Neopets attracted more children than people of the original admins' age groups, so it had to be toned down all the way to a G rating. Tons of rules were made to help keep the G rating on the site and keep everything in order.

Of course, now there are tons of rules that don't make sense. Especially the rules about entering pets from your side account into a Beauty Contest. Now you gotta risk throwing your pet into the pound and hope you can nab it again on your main if you wanna enter it into the contest. Of course...the Pound has been down for maintanence since April, so people can't do that anymore....

Hmm... Well, I'm starting to realize that when I Neomail my friends, I get a bit paranoid about my language. When it comes to language, sometimes I wish TNT would start realizing that we're not all little children. I've been on Neopets for five years now... I haven't told many friends yet about this. I got my prized account frozen for something I didn't do over a year ago...I'm over it now, but people look down on me cause they don't believe that I've been on Neopets four years.
