< had to start all over again for the third freakin' time.

< eventually got used to that. < eventually took the memory cards, got a few more, copied their [own] stuff to new ones, and kept the old ones. Or, if something like the Xbox360 with a hard drive, save your original files to memory units and update them as you progress through whatever, replacing the ones they took with your non-modified originals. (Or get even more serious and take the entire hard drive--it is external after all. That's always fun.)
