kinda bugs me that they changed his Mariachi outfit so he didn't have pants like in the first Rabbids game. He looks funny without em, even if he IS a Limbless...

I would think it would be easier to make costumes for Rayman myself.

That pants thing kinda pissed me off... Sheesh... And yes, who cares if he's a Limbless... He can still wear them... :|

Somehow, when it comes to earth-based outfits, if pants aren't involved in the mix....he kinda looks naked O-o

unless he's wearing something similar to his normal outfit, everything else seem wrong without the limb garments.

I agree with you... It just doesn't seem to fit into the picture. I kinda like Gothic Rayman, but I just wish Ubisoft gave him trousers....

in my opinion, Ubisoft just didn't want to try with Rayman. They've gotten bored of him. They've pretty much pink-slipped him and that's the end of it.

If that's what they really did, I swear, one day, I'll strangle their members... Rayman is basically their flag. One of their most successful creations (well, Ancel's creation). It can't end here.... It simply can't...

it could happen. They could use the Prince of Persia for their new icon or something for all we know.

This is rather... depressing. Poor Ray is getting dumped on the side of the road...

Poor TMNT.

That's what the terrible UbiSoft TMNT game was based on, they even used the same engine.

You guys don't wanna know what Ubi have been crapping out over here. One game for the DS they made rips off Cooking Mama. :( And their take on Who wants to be a Millionaire on the DS was so bad I ended up trading it in.

True, Ubisoft has been making a lot of DS games lately - but they've been rushing on them. They seriously need to take their time, make their games more creative and enjoyable. And definitely longer. A good game takes at least three years to make. They only spent one year on RRR2. It shouldn't even be a Rayman title. It's just used to get the old Rayman fans to buy the game. It's always about the Rabbids.... Rabbids here, Rabbids there. It's making me insane.

Ubisoft is REALLY taking a dive in terms of good games I've noticed....I think the only GOOD game they made recently was Assassin's Creed....but that's because they *gasp* took TIME on it!!

Yes, so why don't they do that to other games? It's not like there's a time limit. Taking more time on games = better games = better reviews = more buyers = more money.

But it also means less games, and in that way it's also less money.

But according to things, Ancel is up to something mysterious, and he is taking his time on it so far, so... Ubisoft is taking their time on something. : D

It's probably Beyond Good and Evil 2. I have a feeling we won't be seeing a Rayman game until after 2010 if one is to be worked on again.

Well, considering Beyond Good and Evil sold really low, although it was a great game and just proved that the general population have no taste, I don't know. But whatever it is, it's probably going to be grand.

it probably sold low because gamers these days tend to be afraid of trying something new.

But seriously....I doubt we'll be seeing any life from Rayman for a while. He's under intensive care in the hospital for the time being. Only Ancel can decide if he'll be pulling the plug on him or reviving him.
