i've noticed some problems

Post by Holy Crap »

first of all, rayman's rayman m theme cuts off suddenly, and you can tell there' meant to be more; the others are almost 3 times as long.
also, the song "fighting begoniax" is not the music played when fighting begoniax, but rather the music you hear outside her house.
and there are some other things i can't think of right now.
explanations please.

Strange.
the most likely cause of the first problem is a bad download try redownloading see if that works.
as to the second i don't know whats wrong there my Fighting Begoniax is correct., for me the song that plays outside her house is "The Begoniax Swamp". check if maybe the two got switched or try redownloading the song.

Oh, sorry about not noticing this. The first problem is definately a downloading problem, because the rayman race song is actually longer than the others, if I remember correctly.
Fighting Begoniax is correct, although it only plays in the console versions.
What are the other problems?

i have the ps2 version. i was looking for the music you hear when fighting begoniax, and it changes slightly when someone gets turned into a frog. but the one i downloaded, entitled 'fighting begoniax' was not that.

Strange, because it is that in my game, which is the PAL Rayman 10th Anniversary PS2 version.
And it is that in one of the trailers I saw on the internet.

And yes, there ARE bonus themes, like Spooky Towers, and the rest of them are all ambients already used in the game sometime before ( in the PC version ). I don't have the XBOX and gamecube versions, sadly enough, so I can't see if there are any more songs in there. Probably, there are.

I'm not talking about Spooky Towers. I'm talking about the RACING bonus theme. The cool remix of Raymans theme. I really love that music.

What console, if not PC, is that on?

i tried re-downloading it and it didn't help. are you sure it's not a faulty link or something? or something went wrong while uploading it? because it's now been downloaded from two different computers with the same problem.

edit: also, do the end credits for rayman 2 have the same music as the end credits for revolution?

I've noticed these problems too. I don't have the ps2 version of Rayman 3, but i've seen a gamplay of fighting begoniax somewhere.

The Rayman racing theme is actually almost 3 times as long as the other themes. The link works perfectly here, so I'm 100% sure that it's a downloading problem.
And... No, the end credits for Rayman Revolution is an expansion of the Disk theme ;)

Also, I now noticed the error in the Begoniax naming... wrong names. The unknown TBOM song is actually the Begoniax fight, while the Begoniax fight song is actually the song you can hear inside her house. I dunno why that error is there, because it isn't there in my version...

I have the exact same problem with Rayman's theme being cut off and being a third of the length of the others. Happens no matter how many times I download it.

The Menu music also sounds cut off to me.

I think this problem needs to be dealt with.

That the menu music cuts off is normal, it's supposed to loop. If you make it loop, it won't give the "cut off"-feeling anymore.
But the Rayman music cuts off indeed, I've just noticed it. :?
Hunch will have to fix this... I'll send him the Rayman theme again if he hasn't got the full version anymore.

It also happens to me with the Spooky Towers music. It happened to me with the Teensies theme, but then it started working properly arter I downloaded it a couple more times.

There seems to be two different problems:

1: Tracks are not being uploaded to Raytunes properly
2: People are getting "bad" downloads
:?
