Warhammer 40'000
So, who here plays Warhammer 40'000 (apart from me). for those who don't know, it's a tabletop wargame played with miniatures you build and paint yourself, set in the 41st millenium. so who here plays it?
Re: Warhammer 40'000
A buddy of mine sometimes buys himself warhammer miniatures and has me paint them for him. I've never played it, though. But I think he does...

Re: Warhammer 40'000
ah, that's the other Warhammer (bows and arrows as opposed to laser cannons and superhumans). i'd play fantasy, but i can't afford to collect both.
@limely: are they guys with guns or guys with machineguns?
it's strange...somehow they run a very successful buisness but i rarely meet people who've ever heard of it.

Re: Warhammer 40'000
I think it's fantasy warhammer, with dwarves and goblins and such, he uses. I painted him a griff once, and a hydra, and a set of little bats and goblins, and some other stuff.
My brother has warhammer-stuffs that are a little more science-fiction-ish, though, with machine guns and space suits and stuff like that. He paints his stuff himself. :3

Re: Warhammer 40'000
you could ask him. what do they look like?
Re: Warhammer 40'000
We live with different parents at the moment, so it's rather difficult. I'll ask next time I see him.
Or he might have placed his warhammer-stuffs here, and in that case I can just sneak into his room and check. Hmmm...

Re: Warhammer 40'000
oh, i see, that would make it difficult.
Re: Warhammer 40'000
I used to play it a long time ago, something like 7 years ago, I think. I was crap at painting them.

Re: Warhammer 40'000
they do tend to be hard to paint when you first start. someone i know said that his first minis would've looked better if he threw buckets of paint at them.
Re: Warhammer 40'000

Re: Warhammer 40'000
