well, there are probably better ways, but if its on PC, you could press the print screen (prt scr) button on the keyboard and then paste it into paint or something. if its on a console...take a photo of the screen? i don't know. as i said, there are probably much better ways.

I know how!
Just hold the X button while playing. While holding the X button, press the F1 key to take a screenshot

Go to controls section and find something that you don't know what it does. When you will find it, use it to run screenshot mode.

Does Prt Scrn work too?
Anyway, for those of you who don't know, screenshots can only be taken if you're using a PC to play Rayman.

Or one can be lucky enough to at least know someone who has the facilities to hook up a VCR to the PC and use a video editing program to take screenshots of console game footage that you recorded. Shoot, I coulda done that today but I couldn't be bothered to go round my grandad's.

If it's on Win XP and earlier, it's in the Rayman 3 folder within Program Files (which is most likely in a UbiSoft folder)
Or if it's on Vista, it's in your Virtual Store folder, under the same location.

It's probably a bad idea to take screenshots the way that the manual has suggested.
I have the PS2 version and you can take screenshots by "Activating freeze mode by pressing SELECT, and then pressing R3 to take a screenshot"
The only problem is that it stops Combo Mode and makes temporary items disappear.

Re: Rayman 3 hoodlum havoc-your own screen shots help.
yeah but then you still need a way to get that onto the computer.
Re: Rayman 3 hoodlum havoc-your own screen shots help.
You could simply take a close-up photo with a digicam, lol.

Well, if it's the PC version, just print screen, then open paint (or xara or photoshop or whatever) and press Ctrl V.
With PS2 or Xbox, I'd recommend looking for an emulator, but I spent a whole week looking for the rom and had no luck, so probably don't do that.

If you use the freeze mode and screen capture in the console versions (e.g. PS2), is it possible to take those screen captures from the console and put them on a USB stick?

At least not with the previous generations of consoles i'm afraid.
Re: Rayman 3 hoodlum havoc-your own screen shots help.
In the pc version you just push F1 and make a snapshot... then you go to your R3 snapshot folder and you open the snapshot... make a JPG file of it with paint and upload it to a image uploader like Photobucket!!
Then post it here...
Or you just upload the JPG file here as a attachment
