Re: Learning with Rayman
I've been recording Rayman Junior on a VHS all evening today. Can't believe I've filled up 2 hours of it already, with 3 areas to go [75% whooo]. It might be a kid's game, but I'll tell you now that it's just as frustrating as the original Rayman. I'll be recording Rayman Rush after this.
I'll get that bastard Antitoon that keeps killing me in the Phonics one... ):<

Re: Learning with Rayman
Yeah, it is. When I bought it 7 years ago as well as the MS-DOS version everyone thought I was batshit.
Well I got past the antitoon but then the tape finished so I have to get another one. One of these days I need up upgrade to a DVD recorder. 3 hours on tapes FTL.

Wow, game (at least on vids) is funny and, at least for me, looks easier than findin' cages. But its unbuyable in Poland <cries and become emo kid>.

Rayman 1 was actually a game for very young children, but it was still an incredibly hard game.Holy Crap wrote:so it's one of those kids games...that are too hard for kids (and also seemingly adults)
Re: Learning with Rayman
I personally beleive it was made for children, but still fun and sometimes challenging, like you said.

I've made a playlist so you don't have to dig through my youtube profile for everything.

Video ripping is really time consuming work so please bear with me while I get all the others done up.

Difficulty wise, it is suitable for adults I suppose.FAB wrote:I personally beleive it was made for children, but still fun and sometimes challenging, like you said.

Then what's with Rayman Brain games for the PSX?StaceyW wrote:I have it on both MS-DOS, which is Maths and English with Rayman, and PS1 which is Rayman Junior. All you do is answer questions, and if you take the wrong path, you DIE! And no there aren't no bosses, though the Magician and Betilla have proper voices.

Okay where the hell is that person, I want to slap some sense into him and force him to say Rayman is awesome.Rayman4321 wrote:Then what's with Rayman Brain games for the PSX?StaceyW wrote:I have it on both MS-DOS, which is Maths and English with Rayman, and PS1 which is Rayman Junior. Re: Learning with Rayman
I wasn't meaning it.... it's just an (lame, yes i'm bored) TLoZ CD-I Faces of Evil pun, search some on Youtube to see what i mean, and because it's an CD-I pun Gayman isn't Rayman in any wayKelvin12 wrote:Okay where the hell is that person, I want to slap some sense into him and force him to say Rayman is awesome.Rayman4321 wrote:Then what's with Rayman Brain games for the PSX?StaceyW wrote:I have it on both MS-DOS, which is Maths and English with Rayman, and PS1 which is Rayman Junior. Re: Learning with Rayman
I didn't realize the Rayman kids games had their own animations and stories. I guess it's about time for me to cash in and buy these for completion sake.
I'm guessing in the US I just need to find Amazing Learning with Rayman or something and I basically have Rayman Junior/Brain Games/Maths and English and whatever else all in one game? Also I'm not sure the "Amazing Learning Games" version with all 3 levels in one box actually exists even though the KMG site says so. If I buy Rayman Learning Centre #3, am I missing anything from the first two or is it just the same game with different difficulty?
What about Rayman Activity Center? Does that have anything very worthwhile? The art looks good and I see it has a Rayman 2 making of video which is always a plus. Supposedly it has levels but I don't know what they involve.
Does anyone know what Rayman Premier Clics is?
What do you do in this? Paint pictures only? Is this worth playing at all? It just looks like a funpack thing.

Re: Learning with Rayman
Rayman Junior and that is just the same game but with difficulty levels based on the child's age. I have Level 1 [which I recorded for Youtube] and Level 2 on PS1.
