Works fine on my PS2, as with all of my other PS1 games. I have at least 10 of them.

Don't you know:
PS2 games use PS1 CPU as a controller of controllers?

Anyway, i'd like to fight the robo ninja pirates, fight razorbeard and play the bonus Rayman 1-like level in this version!

Wow, you have noticed most of things that are good in this version. I really hated layout of Fairy Glade and door to Cave of Bad Dreams in Menhir Hills. And a few other.

One of very interesting elements (and, surprisingly, not that bad) are dialogs with guardians. Especially one with Foutch was one of things they could put in the PC version.

Yeah...

But creatures in cages... And that the cages with Sssam and Teensies didn't count... Nah. I prefer PC one.

Both games have cages, but Rayman Revolution has cages which contain Familiar Spirits; a much more original approach (R2 just used mini Murfys).

R2 used lums. PS R2 used mini-Murfys, dino-something and fairies.

I love Revolution. I might be getting it with a friend's PS2. He's upgrading to PS3, so I'm getting most of his games.

N64 and PC. Then the teensies that opened up portals into the Hall of Doors for you were also in cages.
