Everyone can make signatures so long as they have programs. Even Paint would be sufficient, although the siggy wouldn't look good.

I have Photoshop CS 2. Not that different from CS3. I'm perfectly content. I don't really use illustrator, though, because I don't really see the need for vector graphics.

a vector image size can be changed with no quality loss at all

its used for logos for example

I can see how it would be good for use in logos, but you can't get the same brilliance with vector graphics as you would with photoshop.
