Try living in a primarily freezing climate most of yer life, then moving into an area where the climate is hot and dry most of the time. You'll be in shock for a while.

Living 18 years in freezing, foggy, rainy, icey weather then suddenly jumping into the desert will get to ya. Takes a while to adapt.

What state did you used to live in then before you went to CA?

Me I live in one of the hottest parts of the UK and even there we only get sun every now and again. Blue skies are pretty and all but at night you're just like tossing and turning in the heat.

I used to live in Washington State between the mountains and the bay, so we got a lot of rain.

I love rain because then I don't have to feel bad about spending all day painting or playing games. D:

It's was so sunny earlier today. I was sunbathing outside and suddenly it started to rain heavily. Dx It's nice again now, but damn our changing weather. A painting I was working on was ruined. ):

I know how it feels to lose a painting you were working on. Shit sucks. I lost one traditional artwork to cat vomit one time. :'(

It was this. http://staceyw.deviantart.com/art/Damn- ... s-39166112 And this was the cat who done it. We had to babysit him for 2 weeks a couple years back, but he's dead now.

Because we're so used to rain, we take it for granted. Personally, I dislike rain, a lot :P
