I fail at Guitar Hero, mostly because the button-thingy is to large for my tiny hands and short, stumpy fingers. ;A; Not excactly ideal for a violin-player either, baw.

You mean Singstar? ...holy shit. :shock: Ehehehe, that reminds me of when I used to dick around in Music 2000 and MTV Music Generator.

Ahaha, I got a High School Musical-karaoke-game with my Wii for Christmass. Needless to say, I traded it in. : D

heh, when i went to my friends house, i was looking through the collection of games his family had gathered. i got to what was probably his sister's part of the pile, and it went along the lines of: "singstar, singstar, singstar, singstar, high school musical?!"
there are just some things that shouldn't have games made out of them. anyone heard of the "smarties" game? as in, the small round chocolates? yep.

I'm not bad at guitar hero. I've only played it twice, and I was able to play "Through the Fire and Flames" on medium right away. I'm a metalhead myself. That's pretty much all I listen to, although I like a little bit of punk. Most of you know I also play guitar as well.

Well, everyone tells you that you need to put time into it. And I agree with that, but you have to enjoy it first. Do you enjoy playing guitar?

I find getting my fingers around the big one really uncomfortable. That's probably why.

Oh, ok. That's not really a surprise. Until you get used to holding it, it'll be a little uncomfortable.

that's quite an achievement you know. even when i was halfway through the career on hard, i needed to activate star power on the solos to get through that.

Yeah, I've been told it's pretty insane on any difficulty. Still, I do play guitar myself, so I don't think it's that big of an accomplishment.

Well, it's certainly a different experience. I didn't find it that hard to adapt.

I have a friend who plays the guitar rather well, but she sucks at Guitar Hero with the guitar. So she plays it with the pad. xD;
I suck at Guitar Hero as well, and I'm a violinist. The difference isn't that big, I'd say, but baw.

Not really. You hold down the strings just like on a guitar, move your hands up and down to change the sound, etc. The only difference, really, is that you make the sound with a bow, and there's lesser strings. And of course, the body of the instrument is different, but when it comes down to it, it's pretty much the same thing. It is possible to play like you play violin on a guitar, and it's possible to play like you were playing a guitar on a violin. (though I guess that's more comparable to an ukulele). Anyways, I've tried doing both both. xD
