There's another connection I noticed, and I don't know if it's been mentioned before...

But compare some of the symbols in the knaaren tunnels to the symbols above the portraits in this shot:

It's a bit strange why ubisoft used the symbals from Rayman 1 onto R3 isn't it? :|

I think it's cool! It's like: "There's more into Rayman, that you think. It's more than a game series." *Spooky music starts to play*

Have you heard of a game called Noitu Love 2 for the PC? It is very similar to Rayman 1.

It has one of the most hilarious and Rayman-like bosses of all time: a movie attendant robot that uses the film projector to make shadow puppets to attack you with his hands.

I have Rayman 3 on GBA and PS2, and I think it's awesome!

For some reason though, Rayman 3 on GBA resembles Rayman 2 almost entirely, with the exception of the different storylines.
The Hoodlums are in about 5 levels, and the rest is other enemies like Robo-Pirates and Zombie Chickens.
The music is also from Rayman 2, and the bosses resemble R2 bosses as well.
Some levels even have the same structure as R2 levels. (e.g. Vertigo Wastes = Echoing Caves; This is because they both have 4 switches blocking the way forward, followed by sections with flying kegs)
And why is Ly in it? She is only a hidden statue in every other version of Rayman 3.
The GBA version has all kinds of lum, but the other versions only have red and black lums.

I'll probably make a 2D rebirth of Rayman 3 to show what it should have been like. It will be called "Rayman Advance 3"

Good point-most enemies should be hoodlums, some black lums just like in this gba version itself maybe some others. But no robo-pirates

I believe the hoodlums are the finest.
