I'd love it, but it's not the kind of thing you should eat if you're to kiss a girl within the next 24 hours

Yummy! Garlic!
When talking on French food, I don't understand French cheeses. They are... err... more annnoying than oysters. However, there is one thing (not French) that I have never seen, but I'm always afraid I will see itmore than I will eat French cheese.. Limely, what's the name of this fish with anti-acid? (I mean "base".) Lutefiske?

Re: What languages do you speak/you would like to learn?
you just reminded me of the acids and bases topic we did in science.
acid + base = salt + water
that's right, you combine an acid and a base and you get.....saltwater.
i find that interesting.

I can't stand cheese except for the kind they use on Pizza Hut. Brie looks nice but I tried some at Christmas and didn't like it.

What especially puts me off is the look of it....ewww.
Re: What languages do you speak/you would like to learn?
Haha, Danish Blue Cheese is one of the few cheeses I don't like. It's mould. Ew.

Re: What languages do you speak/you would like to learn?
Because FAB posted nonsense. I've studied chemistry for years, and I doubt he knows anything about acid-base reactionsHoly Crap wrote:why did you say that?
Re: What languages do you speak/you would like to learn?

Re: What languages do you speak/you would like to learn?
it was me, and i know plenty. hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide react to make water and sodium chloride ie table salt. in other words, salt water. acid + base = salt = water. and i was reminded of this because someone said something about acids and bases. and i posted it because it was 1 in the morning.
