Re: Rayman 2
It would be good if in R4_121's upgraded versions of Rayman 2, you would fight Ninjaws (With a little speech before you fight him) in Razorbeards cabin at the start of the Crows Nest, then you fight Razorbeard. It would also be cool if Ninjaws had his own battle theme (Instead of the Regular Boss Theme or Pirates Part 4) like Grolem. (But not Grolems Battle Theme)

I wonder if their forum even lets them do that?Xenon09 wrote:Since the mods have changed several times I doubt any action would be taken. Unless of course he was IP banned, but I doubt Ubi admins are that intelligent.
Re: Rayman 2
Mods can't IP ban, but managers and admins can, I think.
Re: Rayman 2
What? You mean R4 has his own ideas for Rayman 2? So do i, but mine are different. Maybe i should post them one day.Henchman1028 wrote:It would be good if in R4_121's upgraded versions of Rayman 2, you would fight Ninjaws (With a little speech before you fight him) in Razorbeards cabin at the start of the Crows Nest, then you fight Razorbeard. Re: Rayman 2
Sounds really awesome. Ninjaws would have a super epic, ninja styled, heavy-metal theme.Henchman1028 wrote:It would be good if in R4_121's upgraded versions of Rayman 2, you would fight Ninjaws (With a little speech before you fight him) in Razorbeards cabin at the start of the Crows Nest, then you fight Razorbeard. And the first Ninjaws vs. Rayman scene would be like this:
Rayman: "You! Are you the ninja pirate that Razorbeard sended to kill me?"
Ninjaws: "Yes. But don't worry, it will be over quickly. I'll finish you as painless as i can."
Rayman: "You're just another pile of junk. Why do you think you can beat me?"
Ninjaws: "Because i'm not like the others. I'm a specialist assassin, and i have a mission."
R: "Your mission is as good as failed!"
N: "Stupid child! Just stand still, and your death will be less painfull."
R: "I would never just let anyone kill me. And especially not without fighting."
N: "Very well. You have chosen the hard way. Prepare to feel your final pain!!"
And then they would fight.

Re: Rayman 2
I like it. It should just be MP3 quality, faster, include an electric guitar and there should be a ninja like tune in the backgroud.

And Chopin's Death March. R4, isn't it too more?R4_121 wrote:I like it. It should just be MP3 quality, faster, include an electric guitar and there should be a ninja like tune in the backgroud.
Re: Rayman 2
That doesn't go with Rayman 2 at all. And please don't forget my ideas for Rayman 2. Want to heard my idea of the final battle?Henchman1028 wrote:This would be a good battle theme for him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcocfyZJ ... re=related
At the start of the crow's nest stage, Rayman will have to fight the last pirates on the other nests. But not the highest one (which is of course the crows nest). When Rayman reachs it though, there will be some long steps and Rayman will land there. A cutscene begins:
Ninjaws and Ninjas, the two robo ninja pirates appear.
Ninjaws: Aha! Me and my brother heard that you freed the prisoners. Well tough, we won't give you YOUR freedom! After all, Razorbeard's weapon is ready.
Ninjas: Yeah, and you won't stop us.
Rayman: Give up you two. I fought BOTH of you twice. And now i can do it again, but you two at once!
Ninjaws: Fine. We'll wait with razorbeard at the nest!
The two ninjas teleport of the nest where the Grolgoth is. Razorbeard is standing on it, looking at Rayman with a cunning face.
After the secne, Rayman will have to go up the low steps while the two ninjas fire homing missiles at him. When Rayman reachs the top, another cutscene begins.
For a moment Rayman, razorbeard and the ninjas looked face-to-faces.
Razorbeard: Finally! You can here just in time to see my victory.
Rayman: *glances at the grolgoth in shock* whow......
Razorbeard: It is magnificiant isn't it? Now prepare to die slowly, then quickly! Ahahahahahahahaha! *jumps in the grolgoth*
Now the fight begins. Rayman must hit all three helico bombs that the grolgoth fires. The first will hit it's head. While it's stunned, the second one should hit the body and third should hit the green screen, which also turns out to be a flap. It will open and razorbeard will panic. Fire a fully loaded energy ball at him. Repeat the process three times. But each time Razorbeard takes damage, both ninjas will appear and repeatly appear, strick with their hooks just like you do in the PS1 version and hit them three times each. At the same time, the grolgoth will fire big energy bullets from it's feet and try to stomp you. And each time you hit one of the ninjas, he will fire three energy balls at you an then disappear for a couple of seconds.
After that, the same thing happens: Razorbeard uses the grolgoth to try to stomp you but destroys the nest ground instead and fall along with rayman. Then after finding the shell, the battle will continue exactly how it does in the PS1 version. But hitting the green screen flap won't work. Neither will the blue missles appear. Instead, the ninjas will bombard you with homing missibles And trying to hurt them aswell.
When razorbeard and the ninjas take enough damage, a THIRD PARt of the final battle will start. After this cutscene:
Razorbeard: *lands the grolgoth on a cage-like floor thats ahead*
After that, the grolgoth will disappear in a puff of smoke. Just like how the ninjas do in the PS2 version. While it's gone, you fight the ninjas exactly how you do in the PS1 version but after you hit them three times, one of them will appear and rapidly fire energy balls while circling you like you do in the ps1 version again. But instead of energy balls, HOMING MISSILES ARE FIRED! Then the other ninja will apppear and do the same thing. After that, the grolgoth will appear and each ninja will stand beside it.Then they will fire a laser to fast to avoid (if you facing their guns). The laser will last forever until you hit a helico bomb back at the grolgoth that it fires every ten seconds. The bomb must hit the green screen flap again. It will open and razorbeard will once again panic. Hit a fully loaded energy ball at him(again)! Repeat the whole process six times and the finale battle will finally end.
The final cutsene will happen exactly how it does in all versions of Rayman 2. Except the ninjas will jerk viliontly before Razorbeard sets the grolgoth to explode the entire bucaneer.
The the same ending, same credits in the Ps2 version. THE END

Re: Rayman 2
That is good "ending" battle. One of small number of things that I didn't like in Rayman games is that there are no extra "normal" levels for good players.

Re: Rayman 2
Rayman 2 makes it on to the top 20 list of Nintendo 64 games in Nintendo Power:
16. Rayman 2: The Great Escape, Ubisoft - 1999
The first Rayman was a solid platformer, but creator Michel Ancel really came into his own with The Great Escape. The sequel oozes charm and remains the highlight of the limbless one's career.
Beyond Good and Evil makes it onto the GameCube top 20.
11. Beyond Good and Evil, Ubisoft 2003
This overlooked gem from Rayman creator Michel Ancel earned a devoted following with inspired art direction, a socially relevant story, and the greatest female protagonist in video game history.
No Rabbids sighted.

Well of course. The Wii and DS are already saturated with party games.

I don't think Rayman 3 made it. In my opinion, Rayman 2 is the best thing Michel Ancel has ever done.

Yeah, Rayman 2/Revolution is the best of the three in my opinion.
