Good news! I already have 5 tracks of the Rayman 1 GBC soundtrack! =D

... oh, you asked for the Rayman 2 one. :oops2:
They both use almost the same themes anyway.

I have said something, right? The only one difference is something annoying at beginning of level, that appears only in R2. Because it disappears after some time, R1 tracks are better. (At least, in my opinion.)

Yeah, most of the songs from Rayman 2 are on the Rayman 1 GBC soundtrack, the only ones missing are:
- The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire part 1
- The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire part 2
- The Echoing Caves
- The Cave of Bad Dreams
And that drum-like one you mentioned.

Actually, Rayman 2 GBC is a "second version" of Rayman 2. Right?

I've never played it, but according to the screenshots I've seen so far, I'd agree with you.

BTW, the R2 GBC sound track is pretty much the exact same sound track. (sorda)

I don't see the R2(GBC) soundtrack. What happened during this gap? :?

It's the same soundtrack as R1 GBC. The only differences are that some of the tracks have been shortened and... actually that's it, really.

I still think someone should put the music on Raytunes. I mean (to me) the music in R2 GBC sounds better than R1 GBC.

The tracks in R2 GBC have been slightly cropped, though.

Rather than making a new thread, I'll bring it up again here.

I know the Rayman 1 and 2 GBC soundtracks are 8-bit, but the soundtrack on RayTunes is missing the percussion sound channel on many of the tracks. This was a glitch on certain versions of Visual Boy Advance, where a sound channel was missing on certain games.

Regardless of that, emulators don't sound the same when it comes to soundtracks for retro games either way, including the Jaguar version of Rayman. The sound effects are never quite right compared to the real hardware, same applies for any console before they started to use wav, mp3 etc.

An example would be listening to a track from the actual Jaguar, then comparing how artificial the emulator sounds in comparison to it.
