The original antagonist looks a lot like the General as well...maybe he was a leftover from this...

In honesty though, if this 2D version came out instead of the 3D one I wouldn't have become the Rayman fan I am today. :p

If it was made just for fun, then it wouldn't really have a...point. But I would truly love to see it as a full game if it was canon. It could be set between R1 and R2, maybe. As long as it wouldn't contradict R2.

What was its story going to be? Was there to be the 4 masks of Polokus and everything?
