I used an emulator......
And recorded one of the R1 GBC soundtracks (Arcane Forest, to be exact.) with my VBA. The tune is fully there, and has the drum beats in the background. Um, it's a WAVE file, and I was wondering how I could convert it to mp3? I will do the same for all of the other tunes as well.
Re: I used an emulator......
How big is that *.wav file ( filesize? ) ?
Re: I used an emulator......
I'm not sure.
But anyways, here's the songs in the soundtrack:
Ubi-Soft presents
Start Menu
Options or Passwords
Opening
Spellbound Forest
Airy Tunes opening
Airy Tunes
Rainy Forest opening
Rainy Forest
Rocky Peaks opening
Rocky Peaks
Ancient Forest opening
Ancient Forest
Fiery Depths opening
Fiery Depths
Arcane Forest opening
Arcane Forest
Dark Rayman
Final Level
Mr. Dark is here*
Mr. Dark
Darkness Gone*
World Map
Dark Legacy
Time Attack opening
Time Attack*
Time Attack cliff
Water and Lava
Cage
Game Over
Credits
* songs that don't have drums in the background.
So that's the line up. I still need to know how to turn them into MP3 files. Or I could upload them all to esnips, and you can listen to them while they are still in WAVE.

Re: I used an emulator......
Did you record them all already? =D
Then, you could turn them to mp3 using Audacity.
You just have to open the file, and save it as an *.mp3 file.
But remember to save it in stereo format and 192kbps ( bitrate )! ^^
If everything's ready, please upload the mp3s, not on esnips, but put them in a *.zip file ( using winzip, or whatever ), and send that zip file to [email protected] with YouSendIt.

Re: I used an emulator......
I haven't used an emulator for years.
Re: I used an emulator......
Well, I have.
Mr. Dark? When will you send me the soundtrack so I can put it on RayTunes?

Re: I used an emulator......
Emulators can be useful, though in some cses like the GBC games, channels can break.
