Yes, but things can still be deep and thoughtful, yet quite humoristic. That's a style in itself.

One time, my eyes were red, and they weren't bleeding or anything. No popped blood vessel. NOTHING! They were just red. Plain and simple. I swear!

It'd be funny if they took a picture of him with a camera that isn't supposed to have red eye. Cause then, he would have red eye anyways. The shock of the people would hilarious.
