It's still called the sanctuary of water and ice, it's just in the lost island.

In Rayman 2 : The Great Escape it look's like you are on a Lost Island to. Is the island level before you enter the sanctuary longer in Revolution ?

In R2 PS1 I was stuck for months trying to figure out how to get the bubbles before the piranhas did!

Rayman DS got pretty negative reviews over its control system problems, which were caused by it being almost an identical port of the N64 version.

What are the controls ? If you can play with the arrow keys and A, B, Z and X keys it's great. If it can be controlled with the stylus it's even better

Really? I'd think it would be hard and frustrating using the stylus to control Rayman.
I might've gotten Rayman DS but I read about the controls being a let-down and I already have it on PC and Revolution for PS2.

Yeah, it's just a port of the N64/PC version, so if you've played them it's pointless. Unless you really just want to play R2 on the go.

Carmen should have said "Shoot the piranhas Rayman" after you drown three times.
God, if only I worked at Ubisoft.

It's 10 times easier in Revolution.

My point was, after you drown a few times, Carmen should tell you to shoot the piranhas, so you're not left wondering what the hell you're meant to do!

The swimming was much easier in Rayman Revolution than Rayman 2: TGE. Rayman swam faster and air bubbles were much easier to get. It also meant Rayman could use the air bubbles multiple times. Yeah, things were much easier in Revolution.
