That's what I thought too. Unfortunately, I doubt we'll ever know.

I think the sprites are cool and all, but I haven't a clue what could be done with them. Silly me. :oops2:

But what I am really happy about is that Final Fight background, it's awesome! Could you rip the other R1 backgrounds? Some of them are extremely beautiful...

Great work, anyway. *gives drolpiraat 100 tings*

I'd like to, but I don't want to go to every level and save state every time... :?

Hey Drolpiraat, great work :)

Did you know? The plattform-tiles have the same size as the tiles in the mapper of Rayman Designer. I will try to convert the graphics, so that we could use them with the mapper :)

Drol what do I need exactly for ePSXe, for a working Rayman emulation?
I'm thinking about trying it out but I always had a problem for setting up the emulator.

Also then I could get to the levels where I need stuffs from, and I can make saves, probably, I don't know how to make them.

You'll probably need BIOS files and that, and it works by using the actual game disc. Then you need to use the video plugin called Soft Driver and in the config you click on the button at the botton that says "nice". It should work then.

I usually use the first sound plugin I see. The music doesn't work unfortunately but the sound effects do.

Sorry for flood but important question
Is there a reliable Rayman Rom? I'm downloading one but I'm not sure if it would work.

It'll probably work fine. Where are you downloading it from?

I know there's a torrent for the ISO on Underground-Gamer, and I'd link to it but it's user capacity is full and won't take in any more signups, which are required to use the site.

Put them all in the same directory, and run the img file with File -> Run ISO in ePSXe. ;)

The beta Rayman 2 sprites for the enemies and some objects actually do look 3D, if you remember seeing that article I posted in the Rayman 2 topic, they said something about going for a 3D kind of look and I didn't know what they meant until I saw the sprites, kinda like Donkey Kong Country using 2D gameplay with converted CGI sprites. Just look at the Proto-henchman guy's chest, right there is proof for me.

Yeah, indeed, and they also modeled them in 3D, you can see that in that video.
