You should try going over the floating blocks. It gives you a shortcut of 1 or 2 seconds.
And i see i made a typo in one of my previous post, i finished in 01:48:56. For the rest of the level, that's the best route to take.
I can't filim it tough, the game won't open when fraps is started and with other screen recoder's the game is to slow

I've installed Rayman M onto my laptop, and god it's so easier to play the races on a laptop keyboard than on a normal one...holy shit.
Gotta go round my nan's now so I'll continue some wiki work around this game when I get back.

It isn't really that annoying to play with a laptop keyboard. You get used to it very fast.

Either way I find it much easier. It'll be a bitch to play the battles with just a touchpad though unless I find some way to configure the keys to my liking.

BATTLES! Now I understand you, mouse can be annoying, before you'll map keys like that:
JUMP, SHOOT - mouse.
SOME OTHER THINGS - RCtrl and Num0. (near to the arrows)
etc.

Why don't you use an external mouse. I got one with my laptop and battle mode is as easy as on my old whitey

@spiraldoor -
It's harder to use right analog stick than a mouse.

For me, it's much easier to aim with an analog stick as well ( I know that for most people - like my sister - it's not, though ), but... oh well.
