Re: The Oddworld Topic

Kidding.
Now let's talk about Oddworld again!
Re: The Oddworld Topic
I remember the first game, but I've never been able to play any of the others. But it definitely has some interesting characters.
Re: The Oddworld Topic
I thought the GBA version of Munchs' Odyssey sucked ass. The original looked and played better. Even though I've never played it before.

I did some more research on Abe's Exoddus: If you don't save enough Mudokons, there's a bad ending. If you save enough, it's a good ending. If an exact number ( 276 or something ) you become permanently invincible. If you save all 300, you unlock a concept art gallery.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
Yes, and it was similar in Abe's Oddysee - if you get free all the muds in that one, you get an FMV selector. If you kill most of the muds, you get infinite grenades.
You got no additional rewards in Munch's Oddysee, though.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
Oddworld itself ( the planet that the Oddworld games are set on ) is said to be 10 times the size of Earth...there must be a lot of stuff there we've never seen...imagine if it turned out that the Glade of Dreams was on Oddworld!

Re: The Oddworld Topic
No, because everything is proportionate to the character. If the character was a human that would be the case, but it's relative to the characters. We don't hear a BOOM! as we walk, but an insect would say we did.El Dango wrote:Nah, i'm pretty you would hear a 'BOOM! BOOM!' every time abe took a step then.

This topic needs to be more active. Why? Because i like it!
So therefore:

Yes, this amazing cinematic comes from a PS1 game! But sadly, it was WAY too amazing for it's time. It's lacking all the time on the PS.

Pity the vid has no sound...
...anyway. Am I the only one who was reminded of Abe's Exoddus while first seeing the R3 cinematic, The Hoodlums Get Organised?
