There's pretty much every supermarket in existance in my city, but there isn't anything in the village I live in, which is actually a large village. Only a post office that sells basic needs.

We choose the one that combines low prices with quality food, which would be Co-op. But when we're in a rush or can't be bothered to travel further, we'll just go to the massive Tesco store, which is a little closer :P

Ireland has Tesco, Sainsbury's, LIDL and ALDI as well.

ALDI stands for Albrecht Discount. Albrech is the surname of its founder. Interestingly, his brother founded LIDL.

Well my city's high street is made up of the most random shops you could ever imagine. One sells dark chocolate, the next sells East-European sandals. There are very few supermarkets in the city centre - most just appear on the outskirts.

We have a number of weird and wacky specialist stores at humble Romford, and rising. There could be shops that sell oriental ingredients, second hand games, old fashioned sweets etc but it's hard to find what you want here.

Been to Oxford Street then? Indeed it is a huge place.

Here's what we have here

More than there is listed though.

That sounds similar to where I live. A lot of my friends travel miles away (my sister travels 20 miles sometimes) just to go shopping as Winchester doesn't provide decent shops. There are few clothes shops too.

Romford is actually about 2-3 miles away from where I exactly am. Nearest to me, we just have Woolies, a mini Sainsburys, Somerfield, Superdrug and Boots, as well as all the top banks. The rest are either charity shops or independent shops.

The nearest mall to where I live would be Basingstoke, which is about 25 miles away. The bus journey takes 71 minutes.

There's no real mall where I live, only a gallery of small shops in the largest supermarket. Doesn't matter, as I find everything I want in Paris xD
