Not really new, it's a mixed edition of the last two.

Like Emerald, Crystal, and Green (I think, Yellow was an edition to be more like the TV series).

It was, but it was still special. You could get every version exclusive Pokemon, and all of the starters. Graphics were different too.

They would probably call it "Thunder Yellow" You know how the Japanese are.

That was my first title for the game when I was 10 playing Fire Red.

Thunder doesn't make sense though, Thunder is the sound.

Yeah, and they have moves like "Thunder Bolt" that make electricity. It doesn't make any sense.

Maybe it's cause thunder sounds better? But still, they should use the word "lightning".

How the hell can you pass Brock if you have fucking Pikachu? And every other Pokemon I catch won't help me either!

I had to do it with my Butterfree. It took a while, but I finally took him down with Confusion. I got lucky cause all he was using was moves like "Harden".

i just kept using moves like quick attack and useing lots of potions, i was so young then i didnt know about type disadvantages and all that
