Yes, I know. (that's the reason I started the "Missing R1 Music" thread)Drolpiraat wrote:@spiraldoor: Except you don't have good names, no intro & outro, no Rayman Brain Games tracks, and no tracks that are still missing ( for example the theme you hear after a fight ). ^^
That's interesting, but I don't have the PS1 version of R2.Drolpiraat wrote:By the way, spiraldoor, you can also rip one theme from the the PS1 version of Rayman 2 with your PS3, I think. The theme you hear when playing the bonus level from the R2 prototype.
There are actually quite a lot of PS1 games whose music can be played by simply putting the disc in a CD player, or in this case, a PS3.
And I just ripped a 320 kbps version of the first 50 tracks of the R1 soundtrack!

Good, but that's kinda large in filesize, isn't it?

It's 113 or 114 MB, actually. But my PS3's HDD is 60 GB, so that's no prob.
Anyway, the new R3 soundtrack is 320 kbps too.

No, the R3 rip has a dynamic bitrate

What?! It changes?!
These developers are kinda stupid.

Huh? No, the R3 soundtrack that is put on RayTunes has a dynamic bitrate ( so it has better quality depending on what part of the song is playing ), not the game's audio itself.

Re: Raytunes is missing one of the bog of murk songs...
So certain parts of the tracks in the R3 soundtrack are higher quality than others?
Re: Raytunes is missing one of the bog of murk songs...
Certain parts of certain songs. The bitrate depends on several factors, making it sound really good.

So...the new R3 soundtrack is lower quality than a normal 320 kbps soundtrack?Drolpiraat wrote:Certain parts of certain songs. The bitrate depends on several factors, making it sound really good.
Re: Raytunes is missing one of the bog of murk songs...
Yeah, all soundtracks on RayTunes are. But 320kbps is just huge, nobody would want to download soundtracks that size.
Re: Raytunes is missing one of the bog of murk songs...
I can't even download huge files like that or i cross my download limit
. Maybe Spiraldoor could make a tutorial on how people can rip the soundtrack in 320 Kbps with their PlayStation 3.

If you have got PS3, check manual.
And, it is possible with PC! There are lots of programs called e.g. CDex etc.

I certainly would.Drolpiraat wrote:Yeah, all soundtracks on RayTunes are. But 320kbps is just huge, nobody would want to download soundtracks that size.
Simple.Joshua822 wrote:I can't even download huge files like that or i cross my download limit. Maybe Spiraldoor could make a tutorial on how people can rip the soundtrack in 320 Kbps with their PlayStation 3.
1: Insert R1 PS1 into the PS3.
2: On the Home Menu of the PS3, go to Settings-->Music Settings-->then you can choose what kbps you want, all the way up to 320 (as well as choosing between MP3, AAC, and ATRAC)
3: Still on the Home Menu, move over to Music(the PS3 will recognise the R1 disc as a CD, as well as a PS1 game)
4: Highlight the Audio CD and press Triangle. Select Import.
5: Wait a couple of minutes, and there you go: a MASSIVE R1 soundtrack with AWESOME quality.
