EDIT: Actually there is a possibility that it will create a black hole, but it will disappear almost instantly and will not do any harm at all.

Also, if you create a black hole with the mass of let's say, a car, it'll only have the ability to pull things in immediately from roughly 0.1 nm away or something of the sort. I forgot what the name of that limit was... (Astronomy class was so long ago.)

But I don't know where this notion is exactly coming from considering we've already simulated nuclear fusion on the Earth with particle accelerators.
