You did that very well. I shouldn't even reach that score in Hoodlum Headquarters :P.

Bit of an odd note, but I just got a new wired keyboard and mouse (got rid of my wireless) and now my gamepad is working with both Rayman 3 and Rayman Arena again. :\ I don't know why it's making the difference in those two games, but that means I won't need to go out and buy a 360 pad anymore. :D

It could be that your wireless keyboard and mouse conflicted with the gamepad.

Did you use MANDM's solution ?

Well it was a M$ brand keyboard and mouse. :\ But anyway... Got rid of it, got a new keyboard and mouse, love the new ones.

And it's actually SiN Episodes 1. The Dopefish secret in that games is CRAZAY man. For starters, you take a leap of faith off the edge of the building, land by a door, and then you have to beat the level AGAIN while it's flipped upside down... then you get a dopefish that helps you out for the final boss. :D But then in order to activate that door, you actually have to find every OTHER secret in the game. :\ So if you forgot one, and then try it out, you die. And this happens to be in the final level too, mind you.

But overall, it's a fun game. Megan got it for me last Christmas. :D Unfortunately, Ritual got bought out, so there isn't likely going to be more to the first episode. :(

I think the place where my score lacks is the Desert of the Knaaren... but in terms of score, I landed myself late 40's on the Hall of Fame (first page on PC version).

By the way, I checked RZ lately, and the HoF is gone. :( Well, they still have a link to it, but all the scores are gone.

And I haven't replayed the part yet, but I remember there was also a yellow or red gem near that Grim Keeper... and that second hoodlum. I remember it's quite possible to combo them in there too.

The RZ HOF has been dead for a while now. It's a shame, but it was full of codes from hackers so it was no real loss. A topic containing best scorers has been made anyway.

And about the combo, you are absolutely right, and it's a method that lots of people have used as an alternate way to get the green gem for 6000 points. Strangely I couldn't do this, so I tried a number of other approaches, but eventually gave up and practiced the proper way.

I seem to remember Jona telling me that, to unlock the secret, you'd need 44000 in the level. Or that could be 440,000 in the whole game... I don't remember correctly.

I always have more trouble getting score with the gamepad than with the keyboard, though moving around is a bit more accurate with the gamepad.

Same here . The moving is more accurate what makes it harder to score. In the PlayStation 2 version it is easy to score with the gamepad tough.

When I played R3 on the computer at my friends house, we both had to share the keyboard to get anywhere! How does it make it easer to score??

It is because the gamepad is more accurate. Which makes it harder to move quick to the gems

Just a question. At the start of the level after TLSC (The Longest Shortcut), Globox says "Andy! My little Andy! We're comin' to save ya' little buddy!"

My question is... does Globox ever realize that Andre is the enemy, or has he really become that stupid?

Well, he does often talk about Andre being a bully. Perhaps he just thinks he can change him?

I think Globox considers Andy a friend and doesn't realise the scale of this 'bad boy', to quote from TOTL.

By the way, I've got some more R3 videos of combos in BOM4, if anyone's interested...(doubt it)
