Only books I mainly read are non-fiction. :P Been reading one I picked up from a charity shop today about looking after dogs.

Re: Books, Reading them.

I just read and reviewed a short story called "Premienovella" (The winner-short-story, kinda, I guess. I was never good at translating). It sucked balls but I´m done with it now. D:

Shallow as I am, I was thinking about going to the library to rent a book this Friday (no time tomorrow and it´s closed by now today), a really thick one that I can bring with me when I go to Averøya in two weeks with the band because that will totally make me look smart and then Magnus will totally be impressed. ( :confus: ) Two weeks should give me some time to get somewhere in it since being halfway through a thick book is more impressive than being at the beginning of one, and before you ask, yes, I sometimes find my own thoughts and plans just as ridiculous as you do.
Anyways the first book I thought of was Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, but I´ve already read that one recently. Then I thought about the Hitchhiker´s Guide to the Galaxy, but then I remembered that it sits on a top shelf and I´m not tall enough to reach it on my own and the librarian is so scary, I´d rather not ask for any help from her. Then I thought about Lord of the Rings but then I remembered that that book is actually extremely boring and that I ended up putting it away halfway through the second book the last time I tried, and I want to read a book that´s exciting when I first sit down with it. Then I thought about the Da Vinci-Code, but then I thought that not having read that one yet is kinda dumb since everyone´s read that one. Then I thought that Magnus prollers doesn´t give a shit about what books I read anyways and if he does then screw him, so I´m probably just going to rent some Terry Pratchett-books, or maybe the new Artemis Fowl-book.
(To defend myself, this string of thoughts came during a three-lessons-in-a-row of maths and honestly, you don´t expect me to focus on that for so long without being distracted, do you? Whoever put together the timetable was a fool to think that was a good idea)

Here I go again. These TL;DRs just come so frequently these days.

I don't think anything can be worse than Shakespeare. I can't understand those plays, especially when they're written as books.

I've read Romeo & Julliet, Othello, Macbeth and parts of Hamlet. I will be reading the book I mentioned above fairly soon as well.

Oh god Shakesphere. I hated writing the essays for them. Writing one about Romeo and Juliet literally gave me a nervous breakdown. x(

Well I sucked at it too. I remember my Othello coursework failed badly.
And who here has heard of King Lear? I've certainly never heard of this tosh.

If ever you did study his work, you'd be reading books, not watching plays ^_^

I know that, but you could well be studying Shakespeare in late secondary school or college.

I would hate to act out the scenes. The script is nearly incomprehensible because it's written in old-fassioned English, so I'd fail at remembering lines to start with.
