It's a masterpiece of the English literature, and a satire of totalitarianism. Nothing like a childish bookXenon09 wrote:I haven't heard of it, but it sounds very childish

I guess that just shows that a book really can't be judged by its cover. Still, I've never heard of it before.
Re: Books, Reading them.
The best book I've ever read was WaterShipdown. I bet you'll think I'm like 100 now
Re: Books, Reading them.
Now there's a book I have heard of
I've never read it, mind.

You must have heard of 1984, another book by Orwell. One of the best novels everXenon09 wrote:I guess that just shows that a book really can't be judged by its cover. Still, I've never heard of it before.
Re: Books, Reading them.
Yes, I've read some of it too. Just not Animal Park.
Re: Books, Reading them.
Actually I read the "Robot's Bible" () by Asimov : Isaac Asimov - Le Grand Livre des Robots, Chap. I : Prélude à Trantor (The Big Book of Robots, Part I: Prelude to Trantor but there isn't an English one for this book).

Re: Books, Reading them.
I started reading a book by that Asimov guy. After a chapter or two I decided it was too boring to bother finishing.
