3D Studio Max I should imagine. *Sigh* I wish I could do 3D art, models and stuff. I tried Blender once before and even with tutorials I couldn't even made a basic shape. x(Spanex wrote:If you think you can make Globox as an 3D object like here...

...I laugh at you. Very hard. In fact I don't even want to know what the hell they used to make only that.

Re: Rayman...movie?
I've tried that too. Blender is some hard shit.
Re: Rayman...movie?
I don't even think game companies use basic programs to create their stuff, or do they?
By the way, congratulations on your 2000'th post Stacey!

Re: Rayman...movie?
Um, thanks.
Say, isn't Maya a 3D animation thing too? My sister's boyfriend gave me a copy of that some time ago, and since I'm on a laptop that's capable of having Adobe Flash, I should give it a try sometime.

My school has a flash-thing (I forgot what it's called!!
I'd do something there- but I can't imagine the embarissment I'd get when people see me doing something on Rayman... X____X
Re: Rayman...movie?
Ah yesh, I think you mean Flash. That always looked like an awesome program to me, but I never got the hang of it. T_T

Re: Rayman...movie?
It doesn't have to be that good as the globox in the previous video. Look at this. It's already a nice animation and perfectly doable.
Well, since nobody but Bunnieblaster (Gmfreaky) knows how to do 3D we can't start this project yet. I'm currently fooling around with The GIMP trying to make Rayman game graphics. And i'm slittly getting the hang of it. If i have the hang of it, the next thing on my list is getting the hang of Blender

What an amazing movie. In your face, Pixar!Joshua822 wrote:It doesn't have to be that good as the globox in the previous video. Look at this. It's already a nice animation and perfectly doable.
Re: Rayman...movie?
Erh, yeah.
The video is fine in it's own way, but if something like that is really gonna be used in a movie, we would stand a better chance is we made drawn animations. Sorry, but that is... No. Just no.
Why the hell would we make a movie anyway? Eventually it will be dropped once again, just like all 'group projects' from before.

Re: Rayman...movie?
Not to offend, but that Raymn 3D video looks like one of those CGI animations from early 90's schools programming. Ugh the shit I was forced to watch at school when I was 5 aaaa
Re: Rayman...movie?
Surely it must have given you a childhood trauma.

He must somehow have confused 'El' with 'Holy' and 'Dango' with 'Crap'.Holy Crap wrote:He was actually meant to be replying to you I think, but I have no idea how he got us confused.El Dango wrote:Yeah, i was wondering what post he was responding to.
Re: Rayman...movie?
We are able to make something nice, well, if we have more people that can do 3D
The Rayman team unbreakable project did not fail. Nobody works on it anymore, that's the problem

Re: Rayman...movie?
Difference between that and failure = None
Re: Rayman...movie?
True. Stop working on it or failing to make it doesn't make any difference. They both head the same way: No game.
You can make a movie if you want. But don't expect many people to help you, and if they do, expect them to lose intrests.
