It plays my discs as well. You could you know, go through boot sales and stuff, in fact I saw both Rayman 1 and 2 on PS1 at one today.

I wish someone would start a retro game shop, where they would sell new copies of old games and consoles...there's SO many PSX games I'd buy if I could find them, and I think I'd buy a DreamCast just for its version of R2...

You mean they don't have second hand stores in Ireland? We have loads of places like that in the UK.

Of course there are second hand stores in Ireland, probably dozens in my city, but it's still quite tricky to find particular PS1 games... ...for now I have to be content with YouTube videos...

Huh?

What I would have expected to happen:
ACARR: Hello, I'd like to trade in some PS1 games!
GAME EMPLOYEE: Sorry, we don't accept them.

What acarr is saying happened:
ACARR: Hello, I'd like to trade in some PS1 games!
GAME EMPLOYEE: Get the fuck out of here! *kicks acarr out*

Weird.

Acarr, try Gamestation instead, they'd probably take them. Though what's more likely to happen is that they'll ask for your ID if you try and get cash.

You can download R1 PS1 from PSN, but I can't connect my PS3 to the internet, and I don't have a credit card anyway :/

It's not worth it anyway, I got about $1 for my PS games...and they get sold for $10 each by that same shop. :pascontent:

When I've had enough of a game, I tend to give it to a friend. Being charitable feels better than selling it for a cheap price anyway.

I agree with Stacey - Gamestation are much more likely to take PS1 games, although you won't get much money. I saw Rayman 2 on PS1 there for £2 but I didn't buy it because I already have Revolution and the PC version. I should've though.. I'd like to see the differences between versions for myself.

Gamestation only take DVDs in for 10 pence. I shit you not. I made more money selling them on eBay as buy-it-nows. But that time when I handed in a bunch and got Mario Galaxy, I couldn't wait and thought it'd be easier. They took forever to check the price of a copy of Harvest Moon Gamecube I handed in only to see it sell for £3.
