Re: Rayman himself
What a dumb question.
Re: Rayman himself
It would be funny if you could make subtitiles in "Raymanian".

Re: Rayman himself
It would be interesting indeed.
Raymanian on this arch?

Raymanian on the pillar on the left there?

Raymanian on the walls of the inside of the Chateau at the very end of R1?
Raymanian on the door that leads into TSOWAI in Revolution (when you have to put those orbs on the pyramids), and that door in TSORAL in Revolution where you have to hit that switch to open it?
Raymanian inscriptions in the tunnels in DOTK?

Re: Rayman himself
That's actually something to think about, yeah. Naturally we'd perceive them as random patterns, but perhaps they do possess a subtle (yet existant) meaning.

Re: Rayman himself
It's one of the few things that are consistent throughout the series.

Re: Rayman himself
This is interesting. I know for fact that in the Jak series, the precursor patterns actually represent letters, and in most cases form actual words.Xenon wrote:That's actually something to think about, yeah. Re: Rayman upteenth time
In English or in a made-up language?
Re: Rayman himself
I never knew that. Is there a symbol for each letter of the alphabet?Holy Crap wrote:This is interesting. Re: Rayman himself
Yes, those UNOWN come in 26 patterns. But those still look similar to normal letters. Like you can still reconize A or P. They even show text made with unown in Diamond and Pearl.acarr1 wrote:There is in Pokémon.
Those 'raymanian' patterns however, I don't think they'd have any meaning at all. I mean there's never been a moment in any of the games in which you had to translate any of those patterns. Not ever. So why bother doing that now? Surely if Ubi Soft wanted them to have a meaning they would've done some translation minigame in R1, 2 or 3. Or in at least one of the main Rayman games.
Now that I think of it by the way, it would make a great feature for Rayman 4, if it comes.

Re: Rayman himself
Yeah, that's what I meant, and they form words in English. It's on their official site Here. Click 'tips'. For a while, I could read it fluently.Xenon wrote:I never knew that. Re: Rayman himself
They should make the letters connected to the ones in previous games, so we can find out what they mean aswell...Now that I think of it by the way, it would make a great feature for Rayman 4, if it comes.

Re: Rayman himself
rayman zone is all about rabbids and i hate those things so i came here
Re: Rayman himself
I see where you're coming from, RaymanZone does indeed seem to circulate around rabbid discussions. Here things are far more flexible.

Yeah, this is really the better choice than RZ
@Henchman: You're right, I wondered why they don't called the Site "Rabbidzone"
