Yes, those UNOWN come in 26 patterns. But those still look similar to normal letters. Like you can still reconize A or P. They even show text made with unown in Diamond and Pearl.

Those 'raymanian' patterns however, I don't think they'd have any meaning at all. I mean there's never been a moment in any of the games in which you had to translate any of those patterns. Not ever. So why bother doing that now? Surely if Ubi Soft wanted them to have a meaning they would've done some translation minigame in R1, 2 or 3. Or in at least one of the main Rayman games.

Now that I think of it by the way, it would make a great feature for Rayman 4, if it comes.

Yeah, that's what I meant, and they form words in English. It's on their official site Here. Click 'tips'. For a while, I could read it fluently. There's stuff written all over the place, and I thought it was all gibberish. The eco vents in Jak and Daxter say 'power' if I remmeber correctly. The orbs just have gibberish though.

They should make the letters connected to the ones in previous games, so we can find out what they mean aswell...
