Definitely not. It basically adds an extra step to a wired connection: the router is wired, then has to send the information to the adapter through the air, and it is a lot slower. I don't have wireless-N yet (just wireless-G), though wireless is still slower and has a greater chance for packet loss--particularly bad for a gamer like myself. I'd love to have wired, though.

I've got a G-router for my Wii- I can't seem to notice it being slow...
 
Because the Wii doesn't need many bandwith. Anyway, i use a cable connection. From what i now it's faster and more stable. And that's how i like my internet :D

In Paris, my download speed is 17 times higher and my upload speed 24 times higher (see first page).

Wireless-N's finally a great wireless connection. There's still packet loss (for online gamers, this is the fancy term for lag besides lag by poor pinging) though it's a lot better than G. (My ping's 19 though...)
 
??? You're possibly on south of Poland, right?

And just a random fact: Poland is connected to Internet through Sweden.
 
Here's a new speed test for my connection in Paris:

The download speed is higher than last time I checked, but the upload speed is slightly lower.
