I've gotten the 1000th lums several times before and, well, nothing special really happens. It's just a fun secret.

You get the original powers in Rayman 3, I have always wonder how... :S

But there is a big yellow lum on the pause screen, Rayman never takes it! xD

In Revolution there's huge rewards for finding all 1000 Lums.

You mean the power upgrades and minigames?

Exactly, I believe the price of all the powerups is indeed 1000 Lums, so every one needs to be collected in order to harness every power. There's also the games Ly's stones provide, whereby all cages need to be unlocked similarly.

I enjoyed the Dog fight minigame in 2 player ^^ It was great as we found a glitch.

I'd like to try the dogfight game with another person.

I don't see the point in it being played by one person.

Dogfight's about the only time you can play as Ly. And I'm sad for that.

I wonder why she wasn't in Rush or M, instead of having a stupid new character...

I think it was a physics thing, because she could jump like, really far in the walks and it would have been a bitch to program for a game like Rayman M.

Still sucks leaving her out altogether.

And using her image on the back and in game. Who knows, maybe in about 5 years or so someone might leak a beta and she'd be in it.

I was also a little disappointed that she didn't make an appearence in Rayman M. She was known to be fast in Rayman 2 though, so I guess this is the reason. Maybe it's because she was very tall, too.

Well, Henchman and Globox were much taller than Rayman in R2, and even in RM's opening movie, but they shrunk them down during the game (RM).

It would've been better if they were all how they were originally, so then every character is unique to control, instead of them all being the same.

Like Ly, you would have to master her as she is too fast and it could be hard to cut corners etc.
