Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Are all these cutscenes on youtube? Or do you think I should wait till I get the game (not to ruin any surprises etc.)?

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
So why can't he simply smash the TV with a sledgehammer. Or anything.
I wouldn't take crap from the Rabbids.

Or blow the television up with TNT
And just saw the commercial while typing this. The mini games look fun on WIi

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I admit it looks much more interesting to me than RR2, but I still don't want to get the game.
I think after this game they should work on Rayman 4. Rayman fans have been waiting since 2003 for the next proper sequel, we are still trying to sell RRR because I just despised its existence.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Unplugging it doesn't work. I can't remember what he hits it with on Monday's but it starts a crack on the left corner of the TV screen. Every cutscene so far is Rayman trying to ignore the TV and being civil and then losing it and tossing something at the screen further cracking it.dingodile555 wrote:So why can't he simply smash the TV with a sledgehammer. Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Yes, that is the logo and it's pretty silly. From what I've seen, Rayman doesn't even appear on any of the covers at all this time.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
This is a screenshot from where you can see the picture of Rayman on a riding shell
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
On Friday right now. I'll record all of the cutscenes when I beat the game.
Horribly written summaries of cutscenes so far:
Monday- Rayman tries to do chores while a Rabbid plays mariachi on the TV. Rayman throws something at TV, and it cracks a bit.
Tuesday- Rayman tries to sleep with a pack of Ice on his head while a Rabbid messes with the volume. Rayman throws the ice pack at the TV and it cracks some more.
Wednesday- Rayman wakes up in the morning with a pillow over his head trying to drown out the rabbid still messing with volume. Rayman throws the TV out of his house.
Thursday- The rabbids annoy the moles living outside of Raymans home. Rayman meanwhile is on his couch watching a goldfish when he hears a knock at his door. Rayman stops watching his fish to check the door. Its the moles who toss the TV onto Rayman and leave.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Thanks for this Lijik. If you've got the time, would you help out with shaping up the article about this game at Raywiki?
https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Rayman_Rav ... s_TV_Party
I would do this myself but not only haven't I played it yet I won't be able to afford it for weeks yet [though I could prod my sister into renting it for me].

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Sure will when I get new batteries for my Wiimote (it died earlier today) so I can get all of the game names.
EDIT- Beat Single Player mode! Here are summaries for the final cutscenes:
Friday- Rayman gets fed up with the Rabbids and tosses the TV into his toilet and shuts the door, finally getting some peace and quiet.
Saturday- The rabbids find a way to control the TV antenna and use it flush the Toilet repeatedly. Rayman gets annoyed and then fills up his sink with water and tosses the rabbids in it, hoping to electricute the TV. This doesn't work.
Sunday- After beating the rabbids in the Megaclicker minigame (which are the randomly-occuring Microgame segments set up in a WarioWare esque fashion. You must survive 12 random microgames and only have four chances ("neurons")) Rayman finally has some peace and quiet and is watching American football (this may be different depending on the region the game is released in, don't know) when the rabbids start interrupting again. Rayman quickly changes the channel, but the rabbids show back up. Deliriously trying to channel surf away from the rabbids, Rayman almost loses his sanity to the rabbids but then throws his shoe at the TV at the last moment. The TV screen finally cracks open, and the rabbids from the intro are seen still bunched up inside the TV. They chase Rayman out of his house getting us straight back to Square one. One rabbid walks back into Rayman's house and gets his ears stuck in Rayman's vacuum cleaner. He then ventures off further into the home.
Credits- In between the credits are short segments of the Vacuum-rabbid going through Raymans house. At the very end, Rayman's phone starts ringing and the Rabbid goes up and "DAAAHHHS" at it in sync with the ringing.
The microgames have some awesome jokes. Someone at Ubisoft paris has to be reading some fan forums, because in one a Rabbid is advertising "Rayman Raving Rabbids 76" with the Rayman part of the logo super huge and the raving rabbids part in extremely tiny text.
Will start on the wiki tomorrow. Also, the DS version has been dumped.

Laaaaaawl, so they're taking the mick out of what we say too eh? Just megaloooool.
Excellent, downloading the ROM right now to see if it's worth shoving £20 on at this time. The Wii one costs £35 here atm.

I'm trying to bag £30-odd to get it, but I can't find it in the shops, plus my mum keeps saying to wait 'till Christmas -_____-

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Wow man the DS version...
it's like Mario Party DS. It plays like some board game where you have to get to the TV before the Rabbid does to boot 10 out of it, and you get more squares to hop on by completing the minigames. Then when all the them are booted from the TV, you have to chase a rabbid in a city like setting, as Rayman.
Gonna uncover more as I play, playing some of these with a tablet is a drag. Plus it uses the mic again.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Yeah, I said I did. It's got some of the same stuff as RRR2 on DS like the "dancing" games and stuff, only that it chooses a minigame for you. So basically, this is like Chef's Love Shack but with a board game sorta thing rather than a quiz.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Seems kinda strange to have it downloadable when it's been dumped.
Anyway, will Tv party have proper Wi-fi features? Like head-to-head gaming instead of a crappy high-scores board.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
No, unfortunately. I think proper online gaming is the only reason for a Rabbids 4 to ever exist, its the last thing they have to conquer.Acarr wrote: Anyway, will Tv party have proper Wi-fi features? Like head-to-head gaming instead of a crappy high-scores board.
There is, however, a very delightful Check Mii Out clone with the rabbid costumes. At least it would be delightful if it was actually possible to vote.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
@StaceyW : Is the DS version wurth getting ?
