Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
Yeah, that could be a crucial experience. I wish I managed at least the simple glitch.
Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
You'll manage it one day, I'm sure of that. Just keep practicing it and doing your best, then you will succeed.

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
Right, too, but first I'll play SBTC now. It's beginning with some problems with Part 1, the Grid-Combo is easy, but the Combo with the Ship-Bug...
I can remember that I one time got nearly 21.000 (it was a lot of luck), but now I would be happy to have 20.000

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
Someone spoke of a TC glitch, whereby the powerup lasted forever, but I have no idea how it works. I've been making some enquiries in this forum but I don't remember who described this glitch or how it works. If we could trigger it, it would be a far easier method for the green gem combo.
I too, will be playing Summit Beyond the Clouds after Clearleaf Forest.

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
I don't wanted to look the many sites before, could you please name your current score ein SBTC?
In SBTC I could make a plus of +30.000 points because I want to get more than 105.000.

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
Currently I have 100314 which is a fair score considering the difficulty of this level. It's the only world where I can make an improvement of over 10,000 (although I doubt I'll get anything over 110,000 to be honest)

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
Yeah, first I feared for getting more than 110.000, but now I taste blood
I think, it's only the difficulty of the Green Gem in Part 3, that is going to be an ordeal.
Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
Really? Aren't you fearing the horrors of part 1 or the many annoying combos in part 2? To be honest I can't decide which part of SBTC is the worst

Ah, I forgot to write something else.
Yeah, of course you're right, I'm not glad to know that I have to play Part 1 and Part 2 on the max score. At all I'm scaring for the combos in the last room (with the both snowmans. But in my last post I meant, that the Launching Glitch in Part 3 isn't the difficulty, but rather the Green Gem

Mostwanted: Hehe, I forgot about your trick with the Muddibogs. It’s really cool. Does that mean you can swim to the island and kill them? Anyway, do you remember how many points you had after part 3?
Good luck to both of you with SBTC. Part 2 is awesome to play; it’s the part with the most points in the entire game.
sfn: A little hint for the Razoff glitch: You can hit Razoff for extra points only when he has just moved. So if he doesn’t move, no extra hits. If you play for quite some time you may get a feeling for when he is about to move, and if you hit him a nanosecond after he has moved, you can hit him extra two or even three times.

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
I remember I got it going after about two or three attempts. It was incredible luck that night, incredible luck. Maybe it's possible to hit him more times though? Perhaps even a new maximum score is potential!

@MandM: Yeah, it's a great deal to manage the SBTC-Combos in Part 2. You still have got - a great feeling!
To the BOM: Yeah, I could killed them, Of course these bugs works with all other Muddibogs in the Game
Puuh, about my points: Something >44.000 for sure. I've got a bad memory
I didn't know the Glitch works, only when Razoff is moving!Thank ya!
@Xenon: But after hit him more than 4 times your hand is dead.

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
My mistake, I thought the solution described the way to the very maximum score, even in part 4. Part 3 is long, but rather easy, and I don't think it will take me too longMandM81 wrote:The Pigs and the yellow gems in LOTLD part 4 will give you about 800 points even without taking the fourth string of yellow gems in combo with the third string in the water tunnel (although you do combo the second and third strings). If you do get that fourth string in combo, you get even more points, somewhere around 900 points in total. Thus the minimum score after part 4 is as low as 88.449 points, but for safe and relaxed play I would set it to 88.549 points, hence my recommendation of 88.600 – 88.800 points.
Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
No doubt the secret to hitting Razoff four times is to hit him exactly when he moves and quickly follow it up with another three hits. But one has to be more than incredibly lucky to pull that off. I don’t think it’s possible to hit him more than these four times. And if it were possible one can still only get measly 800 points in combo in part 6. If you hit Razoff four times, you end up with 92.000 points after part 5. Hit him five times and you get 96.500 points, which brings you nowhere. Hit him six times and you get 102.500 points, but who in their right minds would seriously go for that?
Hunchman: I just looked at part 4 in my walkthrough and I realise I have missed some yellow gems in the water tunnel. The last six yellow gems for instance are conspicuously missing from the walkthrough, which means you can score more points in that part than stated in the walkthrough. My mistake. There error will be corrected at the earliest possible convenience.

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
Well, I finished Part 1 with only 19.900 points and after the first 10 tries in Part 2, I thought, I play an other level. Which it is? DOTK. Although I can earn not so much points there, I think it's the better solution, because it's easier. And what is proper the difficultly of DOTK? The long Parts, the Knaaren-Glitch and Part 7. I'm hopeful I manage the 6 first parts today.

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
I'm at the end of part 3 with 89239 points, and it's already too much -_- I should have watched after my score. Not to mention that I can still get the last gems for 800 more points... Should I ignore them, finish the level and ignore all that I can in part 3?

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
Wait, you need 92.359 for the maximum...
That means you first have to ignore all gems and then combo Celoche with one yellow gem and then you have to see, how much gems you have to get until you come on 92.359.....

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
I'm pretty sure it's impossible to avoid all the gems. I would restart if I were you, part 3 isn't too difficult.

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
But it make no sense. Hunch just had to ignore some gems, indeed these, that he need, to came of (92).359
EDIT: Do you know what's the secret by trigger to get the Launching-Glitch in CF, Part 2? I think, you have to roll in the ears, then you'll get launched.

Re: The Rayman 3 Scores Topic
Well, the Celoche combo accounts for 3010 points, so that's 92249. 130 points needs to be made, and if I remember correctly, there are at least 13 gold gems en route. And it would be annoying to grab each one on its own and not in a combo.
EDIT: Yeah, it's all to do with rolling. I'm not sure if it matters which part of the pig, but so long as it is on the extreme edge of the pig, it should work if you press jump immediately as you touch the pigpot.
