Rayman Raving Rabbids

I know the DS version doesn't  They should at least let us play with people online. Either they're not bothered to do that or Nintendo is not letting them do that, and I know which one is more likely.

I haven't noticed when I was shopping but does RRR TP have wi-fi?
Yes it does, but the features are still weak.
It has the leaderboards from RRR2, and a Pimp My Rabbid function which is like the Check Mii Out contests mixed with RRR2's costumes.
I can't say how fun PMR is yet, since the voting for the first contest still hasn't happened yet. I think the voting goes live on the 25th.

I think it has more to do with all of the hoops Nintendo makes developers to jump through in order in implement online play than anything else.

No wait, it has to be Ubisoft is stupid. Silly me.

Cause Ubisoft assumes everyone has a ton of friends they can play with at home.

That's sad. Maybe for 5 year-olds, but having tons of friends round to play the wii = utter nightmare!!

I like having friends around. And what is more fun then bothering your friend for days that you won that mini game :fou:

Getting your ass whiped with sand paper?

The Mii contests already sucked. But rabbid contests? That's the lamest shit i've ever heard. :|

Just bought The Official Nintendo Magazine.

Here's the start if their review:

The Rabbids steal the show again...

"What has Ubisoft done to Rayman? In the space of three years he's gone from being a platform hero to a grumpy old man. Of course he has a good reason to be annoyed. The fact that he's got no limbs and a rubbish haircut must be a constant niggle but it's the rise to fame of the Rabbids that must be a real kick in the teeth. Honestly, they might as well drop Rayman from the title of the game for everyone now knows that the Rabbids are the stars of the show here."

I was gonna see what NGamer said (since they really REALLY hate Rayman) but I didn't have enough money.

I have the game and I'm completely confused at this statement. Unless wanting to have an annoying TV be shut off so you can relax in what I guess is Rayman's vacation cabin/second house makes someone a grumpy old man.

Also any reviews that claim unresponsive controls are for the most part wrong. With the exception of some of Miss Fit's hold still sections (and thats only without the balance board) and a few moves in the Dancing games, any "unresponsive" controls are really just "poorly explained controls" which is a different problem entirely.

EDIT- Scroll down and watch Image Movie by Watt. I guarantee its the weirdest Rayman related thing you will EVER see. And just when you think it can't get any weirder, wait till you see when Rayman shows up in the vid.

Not the regular ads, I'm talking about the weird 2d animation about rabbids, where Rayman shows up near the end as a guy in a costume.

Whaaaaat the craaaap? And lawl the Japanese website has better HTML than the English ones.

In regards to the official Nintendo magazine review, I remember when their reviews for Rayman games were awesome, with 9/10s and that shizz. Unlike Gamesmaster and the like, they never slagged him off that badly before. What did they rate TV Party?

Good to see that even Nintendo is well aware of the crap Ubisoft is giving to their own mascot. 8\ Shows they're not entirely blind.

They have some sense but they don't like Rayman at all, they want to keep the Rabbids  If Nintendo can't persuade them to change then maybe Sega will.

That made me laugh so hard I hurt now. XD

Sega would only make it worse, trust me.

I stand by what I said a long time ago that Konami would do Rayman some justice if they were to buy him from Ubisoft.
