Yes but that can be taken with the Lockjaw. The ones in TDOTK part 3 and TOTL part 4 can't exceed 1500 points.

@ Jesse: Well, in a lot of cases when there's a powerup nearby the gem can be comboed after 10 objects, but it won't value for over 9000 sadly. By the way, it's not over 9000, it's exactly 9000!

Hope you won't kill me, but I have to admit that I never managed to get the 2000-Combo with the matuvu in Part 4. I only got it into an 1.500 Combo and I will film and upload it tomorrow, but the other not. And the other matuvu-Combos in Part 3 I did, too, but how I said, with the 2.000 combo i topped it.

Mostwanted: It’s ok, it’s enough for you to make videos of the combos in part 3. Looking forward to seeing how you combo the fourth Matuvu for 1.500 points. And also, I’m quite interested in how you get the second Matuvu for 2.500 points in the 3 Matuvu Combo.

Xenon: About the green gem in TOTL part 4, I’m not sure you can’t get it with the HMF. Hit Reflux II so one more hit will kill him. Renew the Lockjaw and then the HMF. Quickly climb him and kill him with one hit. You then have the HMF for Reflux III. Quickly run down and get the green gem.

As for the green gem in HH part 3. Has anyone tried to zoom in on the Matuvu far away? It could be barely visible from the ledge. If possible, then one could get the green gem in combo. I haven’t tried this myself, so I can’t tell.

Well, if I remember correctly the cinematic of Reflux transforming takes up HMF time so I don't think it can be taken with suit. And I reckon, even if that Matuvu was locateable from such a distance, there wouldn't be enough time to run back and get the green gem in combo. It's futher back than what you'd think.

Yeah, sorry for my lie. But the other combos (I repeated again ) I really managed and of course I'll turn them. Yeah, for the matuvu in Part 3 it was really exciting, because I failed a lot of times only at a few nanoseconds.
Well, I often heard from other guys that they were able to get the green gem with the red can at Reflux 2, but I didn't manage it.
I've got a question to my SBTC-Round: Does anybody knows the amount of points which I have before to get 112.000?

Mostwanted: It’s really cool you have repeated these Matuvu combos. It should be easy to make the videos then. The combos are hard for me. I can do the 3 Matuvu Combo, extended version, once in about 20 attempts. And I haven’t been successful with the last Matuvu for 1.500 points. So I’m looking forward to seeing your videos for inspiration. I have finished FC part 2 with 3.090 points and I’m ready for the action in part 3 when I see your videos.

As for SBTC, it’s impossible to say how much you need before the big combo. It depends heavily on how many times you can flip. So my advice is, count how many times you can flip, multiply by 30 and add the values of the gems to this number. Then subtract this number from 99.999 points.

Xenon: I guess you are right about the Matuvu and the green gem in HH. I’ll try the HMF in TOTL part 4 and see how it goes. It doesn’t bring anything new to the game and it cannot help one get more than 100.000 points. But it’s an interesting detail worth investigating.

@MandM: Yeah, I'm sure that bring you further. The last matuvu, it was really funny, I just wanted to get him in a 1000-Combo, but then I thought: "Why don't you try in a 1.500-Combo? So I jumped down, got the gems and I had gone in the Look mode, and I failed of a minimum. And after 40 tries (sounds much, but for me it isn't), because the matuvu trick couldn't I manage everytime, I got the last, in an 1.500.
Yeah, it's a good trick for SBTC, thank you, I already forgot it. After make the videos, I'm glad that I can play this level. You know, the combos are very very hard, but when you did them, it's a lot of fun.

Mostwanted: I had a look at SBTC part 3 and I counted the gems. You start the big combo with the Hoodlock and then proceed with the gems. The gems and the Hoodlock are worth 1.770 points. Let n denote the number of times you can flip, then your score before the big combo can be calculated as 98.229 - 30n.

How's the videos coming on? I'm playing part 3 this weekend.

Thank you very much for the tips. I made one savegame more, that for the videos, on the other I play SBTC.
My progress with the videos is not really mentionable. First I checked whether I'm able to manage them, and I know I make the videos. It's no alibi, but during the week I'm not allowed to play PC-Games.

Since you're using PC you should download software that can produce quality videos, and not use a digiCam.

By the way MandM, you said you were getting Rayman 3 for PC too, has it arrived yet? I can even send you a copy if you like because three seem to have arrived last week ^_^

Thanks for the offer! Wish I had known before. Actually it was not easy finding a shop that still had this game in stock, but I managed and I should receive it in 2 - 9 days. Normally I use Amazon.co.uk for all purchases of books, music, movies etc. but for some reason they will not sell software and games abroad. :

Have you made your game work on pc? I still use XP, but I wonder how it will work on Vista when I get a new pc.

Funny you should say that actually, because it isn't working on my Vista. It's down to the graphics card I believe, and I don't think there's any way to solve this. I'm not sure of the requirements, but if you're using an Intel Mobile Express 965 device then it won't work

However the game does work on the downstairs computer, which is Windows XP. No troubles there.

Since you're using PC you should download software that can produce quality videos, and not use a digiCam.

It might be impossible with software because they slow the game down (at least a little bit) and one would always miss the essential nanoseconds required to manage the combo.

Well I'm sure there are programs that can manage. I've seen many many videos on Youtube and all appear to be of the finest quality. I haven't found a suitable one yet though but I'm making enquiries =)

My quality of the videos is good, but I don't want to name it "high quality". You can see the point counter, the combo counter and the ambience good, but you can see not every detail. To come to the combos: I made one for the last matuvu in Part 3 and I spend the whole day for other videos. I upload the vid now when I have ate lunch.

Thanks for the video. It's really cool you can get it that way. I can't get it like that on the f¤%#ing xbox. First of all, the camera is crazy at this place, and secondly I don't have time to touch the yellow gem and get the Matuvu like that. Maybe there's a slight difference regarding combo time on the various platforms. I have to come up with all kinds of tricks to get these Matuvus that are located high on walls. Once again, great combo

Thank you. I agree with you and I find this more difficult than the other matuvu-combo in Part 3 (which I still hadn't filmed ), because you have to react very, very quick, already before you touch the gem. Good Luck with it
Yesterday I played a bit SBTC, but I can't do the jump through the bridge at the second scaffolding anymore. And this is important to make an 3000-Combo there. I only reached 86.000 but this isn't enough and I don't want to do the Snowboard-Trick.
