Yes, but you can use particles in other programs too. I tried one time with DarkGDK, but it slow down the game!
Maybe Rayman DX run slowly because the particles...

Yes, i know, but the particles really look like the basic Game Maker ones.

Oh, and jMaxVG stated that it runs slow because of the screen recorder

The hardest thing is actually gathering/making the resources. Programming the game in Game Maker is very simple :D

Well, you should first read the manual of Game Maker. Then when you have finished making your resources you can start with the programming right away

GameMaker is too easy, I don't allow myself to do anything with it... :( And I really want to do a Rayman 2D 2 game, but I cannot draw or make sounds or make music... :( :( :(

It doesn't mean that something is easy that it is bad. Game Maker was created for beginning game creators

Well, you can sprite particles yourself. You'll need patience tough. The only thing i would get Pro for is 3D and no sign in the top left corner. But for the rest. You can do many things with lite

Altough i agree that Python and C++ is very good. But they're not suitable for beginners.

Particles? They sucks! XD But in Pro you can flip, color and rotate sprites, and that saves many sprites compared if you do it manually.

But should everyone do an own fangame? There is nobody who whant to make togheter?
