Re: Rate that signature!
Well, I'm not friendly with them then. As far as I remember, I encountered similar problems I had with GIFs.
Re: Rate that signature!
You should avoid using that file type as much as possible.
Re: Rate that signature!
Yeah, I can't stand GIFs. I stay on the safe side nowadays and choose PNG.
Re: Rate that signature!
GIF = Problems.
Re: Rate that signature!
Though I know PNGs don't support image transparency, which disables me from using it when making a transparent pic
Re: Rate that signature!
Ah, so that must be the problem I keep encountering...
Re: Rate that signature!
Do you see white corners for each of the avatars we have?
Re: Rate that signature!
Actually some of the avatars that we use are in PNG format. PNGs support transparency.
Re: Rate that signature!
@Xenon: Nope, only on Google or if they're saved.
Re: Rate that signature!
Are you sure? I know we have avatars with no white corners, but I thought these were all GIFs?Jman wrote:Actually some of the avatars that we use are in PNG format. PNGs support transparency.
Re: Rate that signature!
I know the top pic is GIF, but the ranks...?
Re: Rate that signature!
Some of the older ranks we have here are GIFs. Like most of the Hoodlum ones.
Re: Rate that signature!
It's quite hard to tell.
Re: Rate that signature!
I am sure. I had to go back and edit them when a while ago before we switched to PHPbb3. Take a look at Acarr's rank.Xenon wrote:Are you sure? Re: Rate that signature!
Yeah, but from my downstairs computer the Hippie rank has white edges.
Re: Rate that signature!
Aww, it's gotta be the hippy, eh?
Re: Rate that signature!
Then the browser that you use probably doesn't support PNG transparencies. IE7 (not any older IE's) and other web browsers can recognize PNG transparencies.Xenon wrote:Yeah, but from my downstairs computer the Hippie rank has white edges.
Re: Rate that signature!
7/10
Looks cool, but I've seen it before.

You're silly. PNG's have transparency.Xenon wrote:Though I know PNGs don't support image transparency, which disables me from using it when making a transparent pic
