Rayman 1 - Order of the music
I have downloaded you're fabolous soundtrack to the first rayman game, and put it allong with game data into an iso file. Unluckily the music is played in the wrong order. For an example number 11 song "Arriving in Band Land" plays when the game starts, instead of first track "Ubisoft presents"
So what I am asking of you is not to rearrange the songs on the site but just to tell me how they originally were ordered on the CD. Thanks

Oh, and the music is already in the right order on RayTunes, so make sure it's in the right order in the directory ( don't let explorer order the files ! Sort your programs on name

Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
I have looked on raytunes but they are not listed in the correct order as droolpirate wrote somewhere, they are listed after when they appear in the game.
The reason to why I would like this information, is because I can't find my rayman CD so I downloaded an image, but I couldn't find one with music. (And rayman isn't the same without music.) Therefore I used nero burning rom to create a mix data/music cd and it worked. Now I had music in rayman, the only problem being that the wrong numbers played at the wrong time. For an example number 11 song "Arriving in Band Land" plays when the game starts, instead of first track "Ubisoft presents".
And further more when i switched the numbers, the first song played correctly, but the other songs still played at the wrong time though. It's like a giant jigsaw puzzle, so I hope somebody has the solution.
I have marked them each with their number first and then made an iso of them with that order, so it should be ok.

Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
Try redownloading the ROM then
Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
I have tried that, I've even downloaded mutiple roms and found other soundtracks and downloaded them, but the roms didn't have the right music and the soundtracks weren't in the right order either. They just listed the numbers alphabetically.
This is a common issue for alot of people, I have been searching the internet for some time now and I still haven't found a solution to the problem. Alot of people didn't even know how the make the music work. The reason this is so complicated is because the rayman CD is burned as a datamixaudio cd and if you rip it you just get the data and the maps and stuff put you don't get the music. For that you have to use it as music cd, or something. If someone had the music cd and put it in your cd drive then you might be able to look up the tracks and thier original possition.

Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
Which version is this? PC, PS1 or Saturn?
For PS1, it's in the right order ( but remember: track 51 isn't on the original game CD ).
For PC and Saturn, it isn't.

Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
It's for the PC
Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
Then you should listen to the tunes to determine the order
Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
yeah I've tried that but it takes a very long time, because you have to listen to all of the tracks and then determine, which track are called what and where they're supposed to be, and you have to do every single track right or you will have to start all over again.
If one of you had the cd with the music I am pretty sure you could just open it and browse or something and tjek the order. Just briefly and tjek some of the numbers.

Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
I just downloaded an R1 DOS ISO, without music, which has apparently been patched to work on new computers. I have no idea how to play it, though.
EDIT: Ah yes, mount it on a virtual drive, that's it.

Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
Yeah i works fine if you patch it but you still don't have the music.
I even bought a rayman gold cd on amazon, but I can't find any music on it, and when I installed it using the patch, the music didn't work.
I really don't know what to do.

Actually, how did you do that?Lua wrote:I have downloaded you're fabolous soundtrack to the first rayman game, and put it allong with game data into an iso file.
I might try it and see if I can work out the order of some of the tracks.
Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
So it's Rayman Gold? Then I could help you, but some of the tracks are a little different than the ones in the soundtrack.Lua wrote:Yeah i works fine if you patch it but you still don't have the music.

Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
If you got the UK Focus version of Rayman Gold, then you're out of luck because there isn't any music at all on that.

Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
It's amazing the way they left it out...did they do it on purpose to save disc space, or what?

Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
A lot of Focus multimedia products are budget things, my one which I lost was a fiver from the now deceased Woolies.
Re: Rayman 1 - Order of the music
It's a bit odd the way you make the iso. I searched the internet and I found this guide:spiraldoor wrote:Actually, how did you do that?Lua wrote:I have downloaded you're fabolous soundtrack to the first rayman game, and put it allong with game data into an iso file.

I used a different version of nero and it worked fine anyway, it's just important that you make it a mix mode CD.
Yes i have bought rayman gold but I also have different images with the orginal rayman, and i used to have a rayman cd which used to run flawlessly on my computer. The od thing about all these images and the rayman gold cd i have bought, is that i can't find any music. When i run the game with these images, there is no music either. When I play the game with my own mix mode CD images, the music plays but in the wrong order, and i still can't find the music when i browse the mounted image.Drolpiraat wrote:So it's Rayman Gold? I don't know if it's the UK focus version, but it looks something like this:StaceyW wrote:If you got the UK Focus version of Rayman Gold, then you're out of luck because there isn't any music at all on that.
