An emulator question
Is there a way to use a game controller on the computer?
EXAMPLE: Is there a SNES controller adapter that allows you to use a SNES-like controller on your computer?
Playing games on my emulator is usually a nightmarish nightmare. Using a key board isn't the way to play most games. Like the Mega Man X games. Dashing constantly, jumping, and shooting using three keys isn't as easy as it sounds. Especially since I cant do as good as I usually do.

Re: An emulator question
It is really hard, I agree. I'm not sure, but I think there are such things.
Re: An emulator question
Check Ebay for a SNES Controller > USB converter.

Re: An emulator question
Of course.
*sigh*
I really do get tired of this.
But I can't make it look like I'm giving up, can I?

Re: An emulator question
You need a console to own its controller?...And enough arguing from everybody--our forums have split into two factions and it's making me not want to stick around here. I joined nearly 5 and a half years ago and I can't remember something like this happening to where I don't want to come here anymore. Come on now, do we always have to be so hostile?...
Now, back on topic. Yes, there are plenty of not only made-for-PC gamepads as well as adapters for console controllers. Check out eBay--that's what I'd do. (Some controllers, like the original Xbox controller, can have its wiring modified to work as a USB device adapter-less.)

I see your point, but you can hardly say that Spiraldoor is his own faction.foultzboyz wrote:And enough arguing from everybody--our forums have split into two factions and it's making me not want to stick around here.

Re: An emulator question
No, the majority of very active users here have split into two different groups, namely the pr0oO and the anti-pr0oO (which is where spiraldoor would stand). Every chance one of the two gets to bust on the other they take it, and I'm starting to get sick of all this warring between the two...There used to be a good, friendly, open atmosphere around here where you could say something and it would be accepted as your opinion, though now a lot has obviously changed since then and I'm starting to miss it.
Re: An emulator question
.....the only anti-pr0oO I know of is Spiral. He doesn't actually have followers, does he?
