Please don't start that awful whining again, it's really annoying and doesn't contribute anything to the quiz.

Mostwanted's answer is right, btw.

Bzzit, Boss Chenille and Begoniax. You always fight Space Mama at the end of a level, but after all, it's just a question of vocabulary, and your answer is correct if by level you mean world.

By level I meant level and not world and even if I meant world Space Mama would still be incorrect as she is at the end of Picture City, therefore Hunch gets the point.

The first one: Lower all the Stumblebooms down (stand under them and let themselves throw Cocktails on the stilts. Then weaken every Hoodboom with 2 charged hits. Beat the first two, convert the lums, go in the near of the cage (so that you can beat the third one), beat the third, convert the lum, go in Look Mode with the last Hoodboom, convert the lums from the third, beat the last Hoodboom, destroy quick the cage, charge one fist, beat the first Hoodstormer, convert lum, beat the next, convert lum, beat the third, convert lum, beat the 4th, take then the Lockjaw and run to the green gem.
The second one: Beat all the enemies in the room in a row, but don't open the cage! After you beat all them, open the cage, jump on the boxes, weak the Hoodoo with three low shots. Then hit the Spineroo, shoot him to the end, pass him, jump over the fire, take all gems, jump to the upper platform, take there the gem, jump up to the last platform, and take there also all gems. After you took the green gem jump down quick and kill the Hoodoo. Then you have to jump from a certain place to climb the boxes, and finally take the green gem from the cage you already opened.

You also fight her at the end of Eraser Plains though.

I can't help laughing how Block didn't consider trying to jump OVER the boxes from the other side. In his ancient solution, he said it was excruciatingly difficult and it took him many many restarts before managing the combo. Really, it just requires a little creativity :P

You have to jump from a very specific spot, which isn't obvious at all. It would be much more logical for anyone to jump from the bottom of the crates, but it doesn't work, and this is probably why most people would consider such a jump almost impossible.

Yes but it isn't almost impossible at all, it's really easy. There isn't even an exact spot really, so long as you jump a few steps before you reach the boxes. Moreover it would make more sense to jump a short distance away than to jump right by them because there's a slight slope.

I'm sorry that I was absent for a while. I was pretty occupied over the last few days and, furthermore, I had a bad cold.

I think we shouldn't call her Space Mama there, there is nothing "spacy" about her. I've always used the name Pirate Mama.

@Xenon: There was not really a necessity to look for a different approach. The old method worked perfectly well, especially on console versions and it was more than enough for the maximum.

It would have been yeah, except Block's solution only gave 105690 points.

First, follow the road untill the floating platforms, htne use this platforms to get to the other side. Then, use the path on your left and climb to the box. Shoot the box a couple of times and it will disappear. Use the slopeeee untill you reach a wall, then jump and use your chopper to go over the finsih line.

Wrong.

@Xenon: I don't think Block's DOTK-solution is very well-done. Some of his calculations are very strange and he didn't include some important aspects in part 7 (getting past the Spineroo without killing the Hoodoo, launching glitch etc.) which, I'm sure were known when he wrote the solution.

Like Josh's, except when you get to the floating platforms, drop down instead of going across them and then climb back up. I was surprised, but this is actually faster then the top way. Thanks Xenon. :P

I call the first one Viking Mama, but they're obviously the same person in a different costume.

This is what I think. But well, her true name is Space Mama, this is why I always call her so. Anyway, it doesn't make a big difference.
